Have just uploaded a new package North American Freight Engines: Here you find mods to replace the freight engine and the steam engines as well as additional freight engines. With the additional mods you get a change to see engines from more than just one railroad at the same time. BTW: Here some bonus skins that will be installed with the additional freight engine mods: You can see what else I have done of trains in my VDK Showroom.

That is some massive buildings you are batting. Looks great. Maybe go back to the first post in the thread and change the title of the thread to NG BAT. When I see SG I think of SimGoober.

Have been reworking the mods from Volume 9 and 10. Found a few errors, nothing mayor. Adding icons to the mods as well and adding a few new ones, mostly reusing the textures from the passenger engines: As you can see I plan to upload them as a new volume in 4 releases. (mod: modifed textures)

A little inspired by Hotwheelers post about Freight cars, extracted the textures for some of Maxis freight cars, desaturated them some, changed the nametags on the side to VDK and made a small texture file with these new textures. This most of all of personal use. Have upload the the last big pack of GEvo engines: Volume 16, Release E.

If you don't want mixed up trains, with cars from different companies, you can only have cars from one company. There is no way of controlling the mix of cars in a train. Sorry. Blame Maxis.

Thanks T-Wreck. My working files in PS, is build up of all the details at the top. Under all that goes some layers with the colors. Here is one of the textures on the model, up close: You can see some of the other models that goes into the next package here. Hotwheeler: The new uploads (volume 16 A-D) are different models. If you look at the pictures you will see a lot of liveries that I didn't do before on the EMD F-units. As written, in the readme, just install a few different additionals mods. You should have only have one of each of the Fe Rep and Se Rep in your plug-in folder ( PRE Rep the same) Remember this: Fe: Freight Engine Se: Steam Engine PRE: Passenger Rail Engine. Rep Replacement Add: Additional: Of the Additional mods you can none, one or more, installed. If you have many automata mods installed, you will see what I would call ghost trains. This specially when you just have open a city.

T: That is why I am thinking longer units are okay The last car with the pantograph is a bit jumpy. It still need to get shorten.

The nose of the trains is made that way, to minimize the problems with airs getting compressed in front of the trains when going through tunnels at high speed. Finally got it working. Had to shorten it even 2 pro cent compared to the image to get it working proper.

Thank you. Been working on a few more models. Here is the E5: The white is the first highpoly model. The green is a low poly model based on the white one. Its a hard train to models, as there is a lot of double curved surfaces on it. Can see that I am not the only one getting it 100 % right.
