Date: 9/17/2005 4:57:08 PM Author: SimGoober Right now it's a growable Cs$$$, but it's a little stubbon to grow. Not likely to see many of them in a city. Especially since the lot size is either 6x5 or 6x6. I may make a plop as well, but I haven't yet.quote> Can you force an area to zone 6x5 or 6x6, or no? I've always wondered. Thanks
  8. Looking for sc2000 Original Tileset

Ha, this is the first pirated game I ever had. I got it off those good old BBS (bulletin Boards) and my 2400 Modem ( I think it was that one, maybe the next one up) on my IBM PS/2 486DX...hahah, I think i was running 4 meg of ram at the time too. Anyways, i played the hell out of that game, but what was that money cheat? I remember you had to drop to dos and run SC2_KCHT and the the city name or something??? You guys remember that?

  11. Turning Lanes - Feedback and Testing

Date: 6/3/2005 6:30:54 AM Author: espee04135 Quick Questions. I am also getting the divider section at the end of some of my trun lanes. I have the newest version of NAM in my plugins and they are still there. Is there certain parts of NAM that I should or should not be using with this mod? Thanks for any information and thanks for making such a GREAT MOD!quote> Did anyone ever figure out why this problem is happening? Because I am having the same problem.

Date: 7/7/2005 10:22:19 PM Author: wolverine ExiL3, The Genesee Towers building actually looked really nice at one time.  Sadly, the owner does not take care of it, and has let the building fall to ruin.  Soon the electrical bills weren't getting paid, and then eventually, all the tenants moved out.  It is currently Flint's tallest building.  Although personally, I think its current state makes it look like an eyesore, the building does have potential with new glass and a power washing.  Hopefully the owner can get his act together. quote> I don't think anything can be done to that damn genesee towers building. I really hate it, but I do have an interesting story (to me) about it. My friends were making a movie downtown and they talked the security guard into letting them film from the roof of the building. They had some great human chase scenes shot from the roof. I like the Mott Foundation building and the Mott Foundation is one of the best things in Flint right now. They are doing a lot for the cultural district and you should see the work being done on the Flint Institute of Arts. It's really going to be a nice art institute when it's complete. They are a client of mine and I just got done taking a tour of the construction site this week. The downtown is really looking good, especially on saginaw street across from that parking lot in front of the towers. The building fronts are really cleaning up nicely. I love Flint but I hate what the city has become. I wish I was alive and around Flint in the 60s, what a place that must have been.
  13. NAM General Discussion Thread

I have this problem. I thought it was because I had this running: sidewalk avenue mod ver. 2 so I took it out of my plugin folder. But that didn't appear to solve the problem. I then realized that if I zoned around the intersection that the cement would no longer be visable. So I thought I had it fixed, but then I realized that the cars will not use the turning lanes at all. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? I tried to search through this thread and other searchs but I apparently suck at searching. Thanks ahead of time.

  16. BAT Projects - SimGoober

Date: 6/19/2005 9:00:50 AM Author: SimGoober As to whats next, who knows. I have some factories I have been playing with, and am still tweaking. Here's the shot I made for the STEX, when one of them is ready for upload. I should have saved the origonal, as it is large (6 tiles long), and I had to shrink it a lot to fit on this one, so it's not the greatest quality... There is a lot of detail showing thru the glass that is lost inthe pic. quote> Now that is a good looking shop. Those of us located in manufactoring areas of the country (Flint, MI) really appreciate this type of work.
  17. mipro Barry Sanders Project

Well now I have a brand new computer and the game is just that much better!!

Date: 4/27/2005 5:22:16 AM Author: jeronij Good morning dear CJ visitors !!! 63.07 We are in the surroundings from Columbia River. The old ( but not ancient) style will be keeped in this city. Train connections allow intercity travel between Ets Amunts and Port de Soller (to the East) and Costa Tramuntana ( To the South). The last surrounding city is Son Moix, which is connected only by road. quote> Where did you get those rail buildings?
  20. What Stadium Shall I Do Next

Date: 4/13/2005 12:35:34 PM Author: budweiserdude23 Yeah, most definitely. To suck up a loss like that is going to be tough but it was it is. Home Depot card, prepared to be maxed out You know what really chafes my nether region is that they singled out my van not for the vehicle but its contents and to be honest with you the ass that stole it would probably only get a grand at best for everything that was in there. The vehicle itself was not in the best shape, respectable looking but not worth the effort to steal by itself. Argh, the whole situation make me want to choke someone. Oh well, such is life. quote> That's always what I say, such is life. I am assuming you live in the Detroit area? I'm up in Flint myself and I know how people value their tools in blue collar communities such as ours. A good Deal on tools (no matter where they are from) can go a long ways. Also, if you guys are looking for any 'off topic' messageboards, I moderate a pretty decent paced board. www.ufck.org We are growing and making changes into an informational type of place.

Date: 4/13/2005 12:09:31 PM Author: budweiserdude23 Way off topic but too important not to mention. Well, yesterday morning I was going through my normal routine, which consists of a shower, breakfast, etc. After that it's time to head to work so I proceed down the stairs from my apartment to the parking lot to find....my work van MIA!!!! Yep, stolen from the lot. Long story short, it is going to be one helluva a hassle trying to recoup the loss of the tools as they were only covered up to $1000 on my policy and $1000 on the companies policy (the van itself was covered under the companies' policy) Now $2000 may seem like alot but when you have $5000+ in tools it isn't squat. So trying to get this all straightened out is going to eat up some of my time here for a little while. Just friggin wonderful!!! If I ever catch the son of a bi---... wow the results wouldn't be pretty. Anyways, I've noticed the RenCen thread has been revived. Interesting, guess I'll have to post some pics soon in that threadquote> Sorry to hear that. Remember to keep all of your documentation and information because come Tax Time next year you may be able to claim a casualty loss deduction and obtain some of that money as a break on your Taxes.
