    Your problem might be that you only have high wealth draw each class of tourist is drawn to different landmarks some have high some low, you need to ensure your city has the correct draw for the tourists you are targeting

    Would be a fantastic mod if you can pull it off, and by the way Xoxide your dedication to modding this game is amazing, I think I have all your mods to date and they have really made Huge steps in improving the game so BIG THANKS
  7. I think a good mod would be ploppable freeway intersections for avenues based of the ones used to connect to the regions that way we could have stacked intersection that dont take up much valuable space.

    I have tried the BOC mod and don't use it as the graphical rendering drives me nuts and also you can only plop certain directions, however it would be great if we could have the ability to add stuff even if only just outside the boundaries but without the rendering issues and to be able to zoom in the same as we can inside the boundaries then it would be usable but I don't think its possible. This is just my opinion but to me no failure is acceptable, if it does not work properly I wont use it, so anything that can be done however small it may be is brilliant if functional but useless if not, again thats just my opinion as I know many of you love the BOC Mod and it is a good mod just to many glitches for me to find it acceptable. In summary any gain however small it may be is great if functional on the other hand one must often fail many times to get a small win. Xoxide I have every one of your mods and they are all brilliant and add hugely to the game, so if you stick to the same formula you have used in the past I am sure it will be a success, go for it!!

Wish people would stop winging about the map size, it is what it is a challenge, challenge is what makes the game good, I agree big maps would be great however I still love the challenge of working with such constrictions, Back to the topic, I just keep building and tinkering, then start all over again to see if I can improve on my last efforts

    I have found you can manage a fairly large population without much traffic issues with a well planned road layout especially with UDON, what size population are you talking about when you give up.
  11. Brilliant concept, better traffic allows larger population, it would also be very cool if distribution trucks could be modelled from reality to go along with the idea of walmart, target etc. The concept will definitely ADD to the game, opening more possibilities.
  12. Love it, anything that makes the game more realistic is a BIG bonus, I love the idea of building industry only cities to supply freight and building clean cities to buy the freight, especially when we are forced to play on small city tiles the above option makes allot of sense. Cheers

    For about 98% of available mods just download the mod, extract the file and copy the package file into your SimCityData folder and that is it my friend, most of the mods require offline use only. There are a small amount of mods with script files which are installed the same way except you copy into SimCityUserData folder. Just make sure you read the installation notes that come with each mod to be sure, however the majority of my mods were coppied into the SimCityData folder, make sure you try the new UDON mod by Xoxide it realy makes it like a brand new game.   15. Show a newbie how to get started?

    I go fairly heavy on education early in my city building so that by the time the city starts getting large I seem to always get 0 crime 0 deaths 0 fires which gives me huge savings in the long term. I base my decision for city specialisation on the map I use at the time, low wealth gambling is fairly easy to get going, it is also beneficial to build the arcology early to provide workers which I always seem to be short of. Make sure you zone about 3 residential for every 1 commercial and industry and you should have good balance early on the ratio can be different with high density zoning. Cheers
  16. At last count I have 41 mods in use too many to mention and the game works fine even with that many I have not heard of the Route Master Mod yet sounds interesting

  18. Gifting.

    I think it works something like this 1. send the gift and wait for the gift to leave your city in a delivery truck then save the game 2 go to the city receiving the gift and wait for gift to arrive then save again 3 enjoy your gift You need to wait a little while for the gift to leave the first city and arrive at the next as it is not automatic, Skystorme has an episode dedicated to gifting on his Utube channel which explains the process in detail, worth checking out Cheers

    I here that due to the complexity of the game with stuff going on all over the map that larger city maps are just impossible unless we all have top of the line PCs
  20. Should I buy it?

    I have been playing every night for months now and still love it, never played online since I got the game, mods for it are great, yes there are allot, of haters of the game but still a good community that play regularly and enjoy it. I simply bought the game because I enjoyed all the previous ones before it, I am not disapointed
  21. First I just want to say BIG Thankyou to ALL Modders you make this game so much better and I appreciate your hard work and time to make it happen. I just wanted to share my opinion, there seems to be a few mods coming out that seem to be focussed on cheating, reducing costs or removing them completely etc. and things of that nature. However if playing in sandbox there is no real benefit from mods like this, I mean they don't really add to the game, just make it easier. I personally do not use these sort of mods, or any mod that makes me feel like I am cheating. However the visual and practical mods like Oppies Mc Donalds building and Xoxides Udon roads and free way mods, new vehicles and textures etc. really ADD to the game. I understand that these mods are hard to create and can take months of work, so thanks again for your dedication and hard work modders
  22. G'day community, just wanted to ask you guys which regions and tiles have oil and ore overlapping for omega extraction pods? I am aware of a few tiles in the Verdant Jungle region but would like to know which other regions have this feature. Cheers
  23. Funny Bug

    Yep these sort of bugs are fairly common I think, I sometimes get a bug where my cars drive of an invisible bridge ramp giving the effect of flying cars, I have also noticed when in regional view the traffic will drive through cities on the route of the original freeway in maps that have one going through instead of your new design giving the appearance of cars driving straight through buildings, however the bugs dont bother me to often
  24. Mod Not Downloading

    Just keep trying, I have never had any issues downloading mods from this site, perhaps your security settings could be blocking have you downloaded other mods from this site without issue or is that your first attempt
  25. Omega oil and ore extraction

    Thanks the planning guide is usefull, however what I was wondering is which maps have not just oil and ore deposits but which maps have these deposits actually overlapping with each other making them perfect for Omega extraction modules. I know allot of people like to just import the resources but I think the extractors and the florescent pipes looks really cool
