Thought it would be interesting to share this upcoming game. Described as a "riot simulator", the game aims to let players experience riots corresponding with real-world events while also educating about how riots themselves work. Because the latter is much more badass. RIOT, of course. I think the game looks sick. Therefore, I would like to know a release date. RIOT is in active development, but still at an early stage. Would you have to place power line after power line, SimCity 4 style, or would the electricity cables be underneath the road, a la SimCity 2013? My thoughts on the power stations. Coal - Lvl. 1 (Low cost, terrible levels of pollution, high output.) Gas - Lvl. 1 (Lowest cost, average levels of pollution, low output.) Oil - Lvl. 2 (Medium cost, terrible levels of pollution, higher output.) Wind - Lvl. 3 (High cost, no pollution, low output.) Dam(n) - Lvl. 4 (Highest cost, no pollution, higher output. [Only if water is available.]) Nuclear - Lvl. 4 (Highest cost, no pollution, highest output.) Also, maybe move the train station to level 2.
