  1. Hi, I have noticed that in my ploppable items there are no roundabouts whatsoever. I tried to make them following every tutorial I could find, but nothing, they won't create, not even with roads or streets alone. I need to have avenue roundabouts for my actual city, but I can't find or create them in any way, however, I have a good amount of plugins running, could it be a conflict issue?

    How about rundabouts done with Avenues? It seems that I cannot do them after the last NAM release.
  3. Hi there, I've never been really concerned about this issue since the fact I always created cities and metropolis without dedicating my attentions to the surrounding landscapes, until now... My problem is when I try make some more realistic natural looking zones with ploppable items, especially when I lay down a gravel path I'm noticing that it makes the shadows from the surrounding trees disappear, like if it just stays "on top" of them, and this is a big problem because stuff like this doesn't look natural at all! Here I have a snapshot of a PegShoreline gravel hiding some shadows from Subalpine Firs trees: No matter the sequence I plop them down, and this happens with ALL the ploppable stuff I have, the same thing happens with default in-game trees, this thing has been into my game installation since always, now I don't know exactly if it's a bug of some sort, or something has to be patched, I've thought it could be a bug in hardware rendering, but I also have some plugins that require HW mode, otherwise I have a crash to desktop, the only thing I can do in the meanwhile is to check in SW mode with only some Peg plugins in the folder and leaving out the rest, just to avoid CtoD and see if the hidden shadow problem persists... Please if you know how to get around of this in any other way, it will be very much appreciated! Tnxxx

Hi everyone, after a while I've decided to push my modding purposes a little farther, and with a pair of nice tree mods, but I wasn't very satisfied with the results on lots, as long as I was used to have a realistic view on the green part of lots, this time it looks like this: I definitely didn't want that, so I deleted the appropriate files and folders, only those created from the installation, nothing else... Bum! Now there are brown boxes! I know I've had a similar problem in the past, but I can't remember what to do to restore the original Maxis trees... I also have BSC Megaprops along with some other packs for dependancies. Brown boxes now are present not only on one map, but in all the region, Now I will try to start a new game in a fresh empty map, in the meanwhile, if anyone has a good idea to what those brown boxes are related to, I'm all ears!   5. Hi, maybe it could have been already solved in the past, but I can't find so much information about this problem... I was having some crash to desktop issues due to some pluging I messed up with (as usual!), Just moved the plugins away from the folder and played with the "splitted plugin folders" method. I got the responsible plugins and eventually solved the problem, moved all the plugins back inside the proper folder, but now I notice some of the lots show missing textures and models, although animations like water fountains are perfectly working, and I suppose they should be still in place, but now they look rather "invisible" than missing... Here is a shot: What I'm doing wrong? Tnx for your answers
  6. It was something left in the plugins folder, i don't remember exactly what, but you know, after hundreds of attempts, I was so tired and upset that I tossed the responsible mods in the trashcan without even looking at them hahaha! Ok, problem solved, tnx for your help!

  8. Hi all, I was experiencing some sudden crashes (again) since when I installed LRM v4 Mega Pack, so I've decided to temporarily remove this mod by the provided uninstaller. However, after that I got a lot of brown boxes all around buildings, where supposedly light cones used to be. This makes me think that something didn't worked properly during the uninstallation procedures. I had only the v4 installed, no older versions, although there could be some other conflicts with other mods, and I don't really know what could cause the issue at this point. Any Ideas? Tnx
  9. Hi all, I started my SC4 with my region after a while, I wasn't aware of the gigantic income I was having before today: 100000000 simoleons per month!!! I'm unable to find out where those money come from... except the fact it is shown under the Business Deals voice, named "building": The arrow points to the BD voice under the previous menu, and in this screenshot I haven't ANY plugins active, just took them out of the way to see if there was some issues with one of them, but no, it's still there... Anyone of you has an idea of what causes that brutally big income? I have a total of four populated maps in my region, plus one completely empty created on purpose, and in all the other maps this income isn't there, so the issue is only in this one... I just don't want to start over a new map, I spent too much time creating this city, and I would like to turn back to the previous (and more realistic for sure) monthly income. Seems like a Building Reward bug to me... Anyway I just can't ignore it! Any ideas? Tnx a lot in advance
  10. Lighting issue on night time

    Hi there, sorry for the long delay, I didn't forget to look for the problem! So, I've tried to switch from Hardware to Software rendering and it just crashed to desktop almost instantly, so I guessed it's wouldn't be a good solution for my setup, then, like AcronShinra did, I've modified my game's command line from fullscreen to windowed and... It worked! No more overlapping shadows or deep blue looking lampost lights... Matter of fact, I've noticed so far that the whole game looks way better in window mode, rather than in full screen... Actually I didn't notice that before, but while I was playing in full screen with daylight, all the game textures (both default and custom) were looking good, once I switched to night time more or less all of the textures appeared "degraded", this makes me think about some possible rendering issues within Simfox Day'n'Nite Mod, also because before having that installed no graphics were looking bad or wrong both in day and night time into the game. Anyway, I can stay windowed as well, so problem solved... tnx for your suggestions!

Hi all, this time I'm having a quite bizarre problem with car headlights and lamp post, when I switch to night time everything works nicely, except for some zones, where lights look quite strange, I have Simfox Day'n'Nite Mod installed, the last time i checked it, I didn't see anything unordinary, now I can notice almost all of cars headlights are turned to deep blue, also the illuminated zones of some of the lamp post are blue. The strange thing is that I've chosen the yellow solution from that mod, but it doesn't seem to work at all. What could be wrong? I have only that mod for night lights, so I don't really know what happened. In the meanwhile, I'll try moving that mod out from the plugins folder to see if it changes something. Here are the shots: Any idea? Tnx in advance!

    I guess you mean this part: Hi, you were absolutely right, the problem was just that mod causing conflicts with "LightCones", and here is what went wrong: Although I have read the insttructions in the included .pdf, when I moved the needed files into the plugin folder I completely forgot to choose the "color" of light cones, and the result was a conflict with the cone colors causing the missing cone problem, while all the rest was in the right place and supposed to work! Well, we have figured out what was causing my bb problem very quickly, and guess what? Once solved, it looks like a charm with the new lights by T21... I'll better pay more attention when I install new mods from now on Thank you all so much for your suggestions.

    Hi, tnx for the reply, I already have BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 02 in the plugins folder, as long as I've checked the remove list txt file with Cleanitol, and it says that the CP Prop Pack 2009a is not present. However, I will try to manually move the files with the method you said, just to see if the problem comes out again. I'll keep you informed! Tnx a lot UPDATE: I have tested by manually removing all the plugins and loading a previous city where the brown boxes were, and the result is NO bb at all, then I've put the tree-lined avenue mod back into the plugins folder with all the dependancies and still no bb, THEN I've put all the plugins back, and the problem comes out again... must be something else, It's definitely not the lined tree mod that causes the problem, in the meanwhile I've figure out that maybe something else could be missing... Check the image below: It could be due to some missing files in avenue light poles, since the fact I have those mods too. I'll try to focus on those files now.
  14. Hi everyone, I'm just going mad at an apparently stupid problem... Brown boxes! I downloaded some mods reguarding trees on avenues roads and streets and I was playing in my cities without any problem, when suddendly those brown boxex started to appear on my avenues (I mean the game default avenues), especially when I create them, this happens now in every new city or zone I try to build. Probabily something is missing in my plugins folder, but matter of fact I have given a lot of attention to the required dependancies and read almost every readme file I got with the downloads, installed all the dependancies that they asked, but still no trees at all, only brown boxes! I remember to have installed now, but I don't remember exactly if there's something else that could conflict with the stuff. The image below shows what I get when I build avenues. Any tips are very appreciated; If anyone knows what I'm missing, please let me know. TNX
  15. Missing tree(?) in city hall

    Hi, I have bought sc4 through Steam, I really don't know what version is, Anyway I keep the update checked, so I guess I have a working version I already have both Building Prop Vol1 and 2, now I'm going to check the City Hall Fix out. I'll let you know... Tnx very much!
