  2. Yeah more meant the data size rather than speed, but that is handy to know, should be more than fine on that front. My connection is... tempremental... where i live and does go down so i was hoping id be able to use my phone as a modem when it does go down. Rather not go over my data plan though lol

    My plan is to get and sell every bit of the available resources, import sewage, process it into water and then resell that back out for as long as possible, build up a big cash reserve, then change it into a green city. Invest in education and health after that.
  4. Anyone else getting annoyed by the guy clearing his nose by snorting every 5 minutes? Haha. I'm enjoying it otherwise!
  5. Im not at all bothered by this, if it works that is. Only issues for me are A. EA Servers going down/maintanance or B. EA closing the servers down for good but I dont see that happening for a long time to be honest. Anyone know roughly how much data will be sent across though? That is why I have still not bought Civ5 and a few other games that I would have ordinarily been eager to buy. I preferred CIV4 over 5 anyway.

    I'm fairly sure this will be run exactly like the sims store is. Individual items (buildings etc) for sale at a smallish price and then themed packs of these items as a dicounted cost (over buying the individual pieces). Not sure whether the EP's will be sold in this (im pretty sure Maxis will release Sims like EP's) but they will be through origin either way. Id buy some things, more casinos for example, but i don't go crazy with this stuff.
  7. Is the game available for download via Origin at 12:01am on 3/5? Is that how it works? I've never downloaded a game on release day. Kip was asked this in the letsallbemayor stream event thing and he didnt know if that would be the case but i believe this has been the case with origin before so I hope so!
  8. Ive been watching the "LetsAllBeMayor.com" feeds and enjoying them, the two guys are alright, little annoying at times especially the one who keeps snorting his nose, i think he has a bit of a cold.

    To me the difference between SimCity 4 and SimCity is the same as the difference between SimCity 4 and The Sims. Its an entirely different game and needs to be treated as such. SimCity is the start of a whole new series rather than the continuation of the old. In the very same way that Grand Theft Auto San Andreas has a lot more stuff than GTA IV did. Well thats how i see it and am treating it. At first i was disappointed by the small cities, but since ive switched my mode of thinking i cannot wait for it.
