Plopable University
Since I did not see a reply to your questions I will answer for BlueMoose.
I would like to have a plopable university. One that you can build one building at a time. You could start out as a small liberal arts college and then grow from there into a major university. With the addition of each building the student population could grow? I'm not sure if that's a possibility or not, if it can't be a functional university that's fine, a nice visually pleasing one would still be nice.
This is what I want:
Dorms: 8 different ones, each in the same Architectural style.
Administration Building
A building for each of the following colleges:
Architecture and Design
Agriculture
Arts and Sciences (6 different buildings, most schools have several for each school within this college)
Business
Communication
Education
Engineering
Journalism
Law
Nursing
Medicine
Music
Public Health
Pharmacy
Those are just some examples of colleges that some universities might have, there are plenty of others that are out there. At my school we have a medical campus that includes a hospital and all of the medical related colleges.
At least one library
A student center
Performing arts center
Perhaps a Football stadium that is designed for the University and fits in Architecturally with the rest of campus. Other athletic facilities, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer.
This may be too much work, but possibly each building already listed could have alternates that are larger. Most buildings at my school are remodeled and expanded. So you could have the Admin building and then a few larger variants to show the school growing?
And last but not least, maybe some greek housing to finish the school.
I have listed 30 different buildings, not including the athletic facilities or the possible variants of each building, or the greek houses.
If I were to include those the total would be 132, including 4 variants of all buildings, as well as a football stadium, a basketball arena, and a baseball field. You could easily do other sports as well.
If you have any other questions fill free to ask me. I can elaborate. I didn't provide specific schools for examples just because I didn't want to show favoritism towards any one school. Plus I don't think there's any one university that's perfect, including my own.
