When a city is just started, the demand is low and most building that grow is stage 1 and stage 2 buildings. 1x1 houses are usually stage 3 and 4 that will grow when your city already getting bigger. Be patience, they will grow once your city is big enough for stage 3 and 4 buildings to grow. Thank you! I didn`t know 1x1s were stage 3-4 buildings.

Can anyone direct me to some 1x1 houses? when i try zone 1x1 houses in the beginning of a game they dont build so i assume that you need to download them,
