OMG whoa... my eyeballs are spinning! That last picture is a masterpiece.

This is an update about a nearby beach suburb of Santa Leon. First, two region views - one with labels, and one unlabeled. The airport in Santa Maria isn't visible on the picture, because I took the pic before the airport was built. Also, one thing you may notice is that compared to the region in real life (the Guajira peninsula area), this Sc4 region is much smaller in scale. Here's a link to the real location on Google maps: La Guajira Colombia That was just because I wanted a smaller more compact region that I could make look good from region view. However, I may decide in the future to make things more realistic and seperate the large metropolitan cities into seperate regions, but for now I like this little region I've made. Now, let's head to Santa Maria. That's all for the update. Don't worry though, you won't be hearing the last of Santa Maria.

Wow, that is very creative and amazing. I would be scared out of my wits to land into that airport.... lol... but nevertheless it looks really great. And certainly adds a very interesting level to the city.

It's that time again, to see what's going on with RADfm, San Lorenzo's favorite music station for retro '80s hits! "Hey, it's your DJ Dave, playing music from the years when the world was ruled by hairspray, synthesizers and the Cold War! The weather is nice and sunny, which is unusual for this time of year!" "That song reminds me of my first year of highschool, asking Dana out on a date. She rejected me... for the tenth time that week... sigh... I wonder if she's back in town? Not that I'm interested since I'm married and in a happy relationship... uhhh... I'll shut up now." Anyways, let's continue on. This update is about urban railroads in the San Lorenzo area. Below is a mosaic of the northern area of Lawrence Island, with the train station & stadium. Most of the railroads go through the industrial area in northern Lawrence Island, since San Lorenzo is an industrial city. The area is filled with factories, power plants, and various industries. In the past 5 years, high tech industry has seen a large boom in this city, many of the companies from California looking for lower prices. The railroads in the industrial area are used mostly for...well, freight trains. However these rails are also the same ones that lead to the old central station, which still is in use despite the dramatic decreases in passenger train use. The freight trains that go through here mostly carry lumber from nearby logging areas, but also produce, frozen food, industrial materials, and petroleum. Near the industrial area is the Central Station, which is a local landmark for it's iconic clock tower. The station is not really that busy since people don't use passenger trains here much, but it still serves as a historic building. When you go farther outside the city on the railroads into the suburbs, they are mostly double rail occasionally with dirt roads along the side for emergency vehicles and whatnot. However, the dirt roads are mostly used as parking spaces for people who don't know where to park their cars, but would rather not use the convenient nearby paved parking lots. Okay, so I've been trying to post an update to my city journal, but it gives me "Provide some content" even though there is content in it. Anyways, here is a region view of San Lorenzo: and one without labels: The main changes are a vast expansion of the southern part of the city, along with an extra runway at the San Lorenzo Int'l Airport, and some snowy mountains in the north, near Redwood.

I just read through this (not all of it) but its a very captivating story, and I love the way the city is laid out.

This update is about the general quality of life in Mesias, and Santa Leon in particular. As you will notice, I remodeled the city quite a bit, because before it just didn't feel right. The hills in the south seemed to limit any kind of urban expansion, and so I decided to flatten them and spread the city out. This newer look is much more inspired by real life urban cities in the same region that Mesias exists, like Maracaibo (which is located across the border from Mesias in nearby Venezuela) We'll start off by the airport since we just left the Mediterranean islands.

WOW!! I absolutely love the whole design, and the use of Middle-Eastern buildings. I also like how you made the beaches.

I love this. I've been to Warsaw several times and I just love it, particularly the rebuilt old quarter.
