I recently reinstalled SC4 (because of NAM/RHW/this thread mostly) and started to play around with the RHW... Man, thats hard. But I like the result (Sorry, just noticed I forgot to turn off day/night cycle... if you want I'll take another picture with daylight) Tried to build an on/off ramp without using much space. Also, messing around with TULEPs for the first time. Took me about 2hrs to build (not much experience yet). A RHW 4-lane one-way roundabout. Maybe I'll add seperate on/off ramps later. Right now it's just an intersection between 2 RHW-4s and one RHW-6C. Two closeups: I'm trying to use the eyecandy puzzlepieces (like the arrows) as much as possible to create realistic scenarios. I really need smooth curves for RHW-6 and -8 though, I hate those sharp 45 degree turns. Not really impressive since it's my first time using the RHW, which got soooo much better since the last time (one of the first versions I think). But I think I found my new love Expect more in the future.

I use the German System: A: Autobahn/Interstate Highway (SC4 Elevated/Ground Highway) - mostly on the ground, even in cities, except for highrise downtowns. One, two or three numbers. (A8, A81,A831) The numbering system is quite complicated, but you can look it up on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobahn B: Bundesstrasse/Federal Road (SC4 Alley/One Way Roads for splitting OR Rural Highways from the Rural Highway Project) - usually crossing-free outside cities. Larger routes that can take much traffic and bring it to mayor and smaller cities where highways would be too expensive to build. One, two or three numbers like the Autobahn. (B3, B10, B313) L: Landstrasse (Fernstrasse, Autostrasse)/Country Road (SC4 Road) - Even smaller where a federal road would be too much. Also used as alterative routes for highways when there are traffic jams or accidents. Usually crossing free outside cities (well, at least in RL... its hard to realise this in SC4). One, two, three or even four numbers. (L1192) If you look at the numbers you should now be able to find out where I life^^ N.SGS

Can ferry from city A transport passengers to city B?
NightlinerSGS replied to Michael1980's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I can't see the city borders from that shot, but if you want the ferrys to go multiple cities, you have to place ports in the cities between them. Example: You have Cities A, B, and C, next to each other on the same river/shore. If you want the ferries to go from A to C, you have to place a port in B as well, to establish the ferry route. -
Hey selles, how did you get that desert there? I need one for my region too....

Just one quick question: Which one is the speed file, and will the HSRP still work when I take it out (<---In this case I mean the stations and the skin, not the speed, efficiency, etc.) I want to take that file out because its screwing up most of my cities, but I don't want to take out the HSR (which looks very cool in my region =)) Even if its Eye Candy only then....
