I'm trying to find a toll booth for the maxis highways similar to the ones that pierrebaptiste created awhile ago. I had something similar to these once before I changed systems. Can anyone point me in the right direction? nvm I found them.

NAM 31.1 Technical Support and Bug Report Thread

I recently updated my NAM and the changes are amazing. I uninstalled the previous version first just to make sure the new install would not cause any problems. I installed the NAM31.1 and started to explore the many new features. I stumbled on a problem when I tried to place the additional maxis highway interchanges. In fact I could place any of them, I just got a red mouse icon. At first I thought maxis highway override AKA project symphony was installed but after reinstalling the problem was not fixed. Any suggestions? -
After changing the command line to -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -d:software -f -CPUcount:1 -audio:on and setting my compatibility to windows xp (service pack 2) it works. It seems like a lot of people here on simtropolis and other forums are having difficulty loading the game. There should be a thread dedicated to this problem, if there is one great. At this point I do not know how to get this game to work on my pc. Since I have directx 11, I thought maybe if I download directx 9c it should work. Well a screen pops up and says I must be running Windows 98/Millenium Ed./2000/XP to install directx 9c. I tried to change the command line and after trying to start the game it CTD, epic fail once again. I am starting to think that its not the game as I could play it on my old computer setup with windows 7. I know my old computer had 2 cores and the newer one has 4 this may be the issue. I have read on sc4devotion that there are multiple people who have installed the game with windows 8. I have run out of ideas and have tried multiple ways to get the game to work but it just will not load. It seems the optical drive reads the game but just will not play it. So maybe its the drive who knows. As I have been playing SimCity 4 for the past several years its hard to believe that I am throwing in the towel. Its hard for me to say that, but I enjoyed watching this game evolve. My only other option is return my computer and try a new set up with windows 7.

Here is my computer specs: Intel I5-3450 CPU@ 3.1GHz, 8192MB Ram, AMD Radeon HD 7450. Its not the best set up but as occasional gamer this should be fine. Also the operating system is Windows 8 (64 bit). Hope this helps

I recently updated my computer as I needed a upgrade. After setting up the computer I installed SimCity 4 Deluxe. The set up went smooth and after it was finished setting up the game screen appeas. After several seconds it disappears and epic fail. I have tried to reinstall the game twice already but that did not work. I have downloaded the newest version of directx as I thought that was the problem. I would think with a newer computer this would not be such a hard thing to complete. Any ideas how to get my SimCity 4 to load? Thanks

As I need my current terrain mod to play my region. I hope it works out.

I have been looking for a mod that would change the colour of the grass in the game to a more darker green. If there is a mod like this out there?. This is to eliminate the amount of time spent placing green park tiles everywhere. Any help is much appreciated.

I have been looking for awhile now the fire/police station that was on the old simcity website (which has been shut down for awhile now) and on megaupload (now shut down). They covered the entire map which was convenient. Any ideas where to look? Also was looking for bus stops that are on the sides of the road unlike the ones that maxis has that take up a entire tile. I found few but they were not the greatest. Thanks

So I have looked around and can not find the SimCity 4 deluxe at any pc gaming store. If you get the game off origin or steam can you still use the custom content, if not then Amazon and or eBay is looking like it’s the best chance to get the game. -
I was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase the Simcity Deluxe game. I went to the EA website and the only way is to purchase it and play it through origin. Which is not something I want to go through as I would feel like actually did purchase the game. So where would someone get the game without having to get only a digital copy? Thanks.

I have been trying to find embankments lots to make my city look more realistic. Note that I have found several of them but none that have that wow factor. Here are several I have found: Marrast's Embankment Set (more for around water and does look nice) Buddybud embankment set (btw this one does have a nice touch to it) JS Seawalls by JayStimson (more for around water and does look nice)
