Well it's me again! Now before I start with my problem, for those of you who don't know where to get it, here is the link: http://www.clefsdeschampsserrurier.com/CyclePuppy/CyclePuppyColumbus.htm Now this thread wasn't made for advertising his mod, even though it seems to be a masterpiece. I actually have a problem, well to say it more straight forward, It won't work! I downloaded this mod a few days ago, read about it in a thread, and from the looks of it it looked very promising. Now that others have started to post pictures of their new landscapes (Alkaola, Jeronij,..) I get even more frustrated. Personally I hate problems, and hate it when I look stupid because of them. So now to the problem: - the files I have put in my plugins folder are (actually the same as jeronij); CP_ColumbusPlayTerrainParameters.dat CP_TerrainTextures_No1.dat CP_TreeModels_No1.dat CPL_Columbus_FloraBrush_Wetter.dat CP_ColumbusBeachCliff.dat CP_ColumbusRockTextures.dat -All in all 6 files. -Now the stuff that i have tried, is: -Opening a existing city or just plain landscape, and tried to see if anything has changed. -downloaded a JPEG, and Config file off the STEX and tried a fresh start. (put the elevaton up one notch after the region was finished developing landscape) -Also opened a waterfilled city, changed the landscape, and looked if anything looked totally cool. In all these attempts I have fail to get a good result. The only thing i saw was that instead of beach, there would be something that looked like gravel, and oufcorse the Godmode trees, that mostly work. But the ground textures stay the same. And I wonder why!? I mean, I looked at what Jeronij had accomplished, the dark green thick grass, the flowers, and the thick lush woods, and I looked back at my very Maxis, default, region. What have I done to deserve this!!!?? Now please help me, please, I need this mod so badly... heh, well not that badly, but it would be great to see it work, and then I could get back to my normal life again. -in advanve, thank you... +here is a bunny to all of you who reply! & well ok, and a duck -hmm.. found the Snowcapped terrain and the beach mod in my plugins folder. hmm.. London perhaps. It has a lot of nice old European and British architecture, and newer skyscrapers and office buildings. It would have been my favorite city to visit wasn't it for the bad weather, expenses of living there and uhm... the food take care,

I prefer the "old" European way of planning. A lot of dense city, w2w houses paused by parks and areas of small private gardens where people can grow vegetables and such. This limits the city to a certain size, though often are what today are called metro areas also towns and cities that have been merged together with a near by larger city. An example is Munich, take a look at it from Google earth, and you'll know what I mean. In some areas it is only 6 km (3,7 miles) from city center to farmlands, and it has over 1,3 million inhabitants. Compare it with much smaller American cities like Orlando,Florida that have almost an "indefinite" size due to its vast sprawl. take care,

Well since space isn't a problem, I either do it lossless (FLAC) or if I feel the need to compress the music I never go lower than 192. I use Audio grabber for compression and ripping. It is a great tool, and I have used it for a looooooooong while. edit: unlike Voar Tok, I only use one tool. Audio grabber does all that stuff. take care,

Just try it out, you can put 5000 too, though it will limit you at 4096, since that is the max of XP and Vista. You might want to check out which background programs, or services that ran while you were playing. If you experience errors like these, try to disable some of the programs that are running in the background like Anti Virus, or anti spy etc... It could also be something with you having a removable disk inserted...? take care,
