1. @ goodyou: Erm, OK? Anyway, the disk image method works! Thanks for saving me from having to listen to the constant racket of my DVD Drive
2. Upcoming Seminar: The Future Of The RHW

It's past my bedtime, will a log/script be released elsewhere?
3. Extensive Grass Lots

Whoops, I mean if it had a grass-texture diagonal filler. Forgot the name!
4. Extensive Grass Lots

I would use this if there was triangular grass, but since this takes up valuable menu slots, and I can get the same effect with this mod, I'm not using this.
5. PEG SPAM Traffic MOD (AddOn)

So is this mod able to co-operate with the NAM? Can you just spell it out please! I'd love to use it, but I wouldn't want to miss the NAM
6. NAM General Support

I could do a quick mod for the built-in station if you like. I'm not into BATing yet, so nothing special
7. Mac made City Journals

@ Goodyou: Firstly, I can't see the images, but more importantly, you've posted in the wrong place. This is a thread for listing Mac-Made City Journals, and is not related to the NAM or RHW.
8. My new iPod touch is coming soon... Long overdue!

1. vivapanda

Yay ,iPod touch! I've got one too :)

9. Upgrading to Mac OSX Lion?

It's here, if you want to risk it
10. Locating and Modifing Game Elements Help

Agreed, I hate how the game has to do that... Now would it be possible to remove the bulldoze smoke as well? That's just as annoying!
11. Show us your Railroads!

This transition piece @ Dragonxander: Were you asking about the same one as terring? See above, although this won't allow UDI to go through, nor the same automata textures (unless for both light and heavy rail).
12. Cityscape

Sorry to revive this old topic, but the company's gone down... Probably because nobody could afford it! Now where can I get a copy???
13. Show us your Railroads!

This transition piece
14. Madisonville Central Station

What's the link to the station? Nice!
15. NAM: Development

Those pieces go waaay back to when the NAM was first developed--and probably even a little before that. I think I've used them maybe once when I was first trying out the NAM, but I don't think they're used very much by anyone nowadays, and I think a lot of people have, at one point or another, completely forgotten they exist. There's been discussion of what to do with them intermittently, but nothing was ever really conclusively decided, as far as I remember. -Tarkus You could include them in the next NAM along with the current ones. For example, in the Game Menu you could have Option A and Option B. that way we could use both options in game. Just a thought. Erm, OK? Please elaborate, I don't understand.
16. I was gonna ask if that would work... Nice, I should try it!
17. The United Cities*4th Birthday and Retirement!*

It's like the London Orbirail! I can't find the poll, but I vote for either C (and G for the existing C) or O
18. NAM: Development

Whoops, that's what I meant. Sorry, I hope it's all going well
19. NAM: Development

I assume that you will be sorting out Menu icons and such as part of 0E the Monolithic NAM... @ Nonny: That's what the 'legacy support' files are there for
20. The Railfans of Simtropolis

Just come across this thread, it's good. My hometown (I live near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England) has had quite a rich railway history, with the modern day ECML (I hear the InterCity 225 sets within 2 miles!) running right past. We've had LNER and their record-breaking steam trains, Deltics, HSTs (InterCity 125, officially the fastest diesel trains in the world), and our current IC225s (descended from the Advanced Passenger [tilting] Train). We will soon be recieving new OHLE/Diesel high-speed trains with Japanese technology (IEP), accompanied soon by Chinese Polaris trains. We also have three types of 1980s-1990s suburban commuter EMUs, soon to be consolidated and replaced by brand-new (controversially chosen) german-manufactured Siemens 'Desiro City' Thameslink trains. We also have the oldest EMUs in operation on the British railway, the first dual-voltage OHLE/third-rail trains in Britain, for inner suburban services to Moorgate. Plus, the Kings Cross redevelopment will be complete soon! Talk about a history...
21. NAM: Development

Necromancy: the supposed practice of communicating with the dead, esp. in order to predict the future. The extended ramps look good though, will be a useful addition. P.S. Do we still need the one-piece overpass bridges, or is it for ease of use/newbies to the NAM? It would be better to merge the three menu icons into one, I think.
22. NAM: Development

Extended ramp transitions? Nice!
23. Office Building with ice cream stall in front $$$

Never heard of an office like that. This would be a great place to work at though, not bad for a first try... 4/5
24. What one fool can do, another can undo.

I think I may have a better idea. I don't know if you are doing this already, but I don't connect my personal PCs to the Internet at all, at least whilst running Windows. If that stinking trash can't get to my computers, then I won't have to deal with it! Actually, old son, I don't even have a copy of the windows disks. I run Linux in various decors, and the recommended anti-virus system clam-av, freshclam, clamd, and the standard firewall (ufw). I thought you were a MAC user. If you are running the current OS/X you can run wine to avoid running windows. Wine is not a windows emulator, but an on-the-fly call converter that changes windows calls to native calls as needed. The rest of the code just runs. I believe that if you need to run a .NET program, you can run it with a module called mono (on Linux) which runs the same way. It has the on-the-fly CLI compiler needed to change the code into native mode. Frankly, I can't be bothered with microtrash. Tbh, I use Macs on a day-to-day basis at home, and Windows at school. I have a PC I built myself, which I use to run Windows and Linux, since I find that more convenient, plus my regular Mac is currently a PowerPC, the one I am typing at. As I said, I would never usually connect my PC to the internet, unless it's for that gruelling activation process, licence keys, registration and the like. For that, I do use antivirus and so on. In fact, I do find it easier, more convenient [for debugging and modifying] and better for my conscience that I run Windows on a machine it belongs on. It's good fun assembling your own tools as well!
25. Mac made City Journals

Unfortunately, I have decided to "close" the Timbuktu Region Diary already (the region erased itself ), after a few more updates. Please could you add a "CLOSED" note after the link?
