  1. Dmscopio's BAT showcase

Impressive work! What else is there to say? Oh, right; Long live the glass bagel!
  2. The Leaving / Returning Thread

Welcome back, SimMaster, and Yayo! We've had our share of moments in old school ST, eh? But, hey, the past is past, and you should hang around and enjoy what ST has to offer now!
  3. The Simtropolis Closet

That's a freudian slip right there. Perhaps he's not really gay. BTW, I'm neither gay, straight, or bi. I'm a straight leaning independent. Kinda like a libertarian in politics. But, yeah, ENOUGH about Christopherous' sexuality.
  4. The Simtropolis Closet

Silence! Just because I talk with you people doesn't make me one of y'all!
  5. NDEX ITS 8 Canada Square

    Very very nice!
  6. The Simtropolis Closet

The first gay cartoon character, as far as I know (not openly, though) was Hannah Barbera's Snagglepuss: If you've EVER seen his show, you'll have to agree. After all, he IS pink! Exit, stage left!
  7. The Simtropolis Closet

Ok, new topic! Gay cartoon characters! Know of any? Oh, and does anyone know who the first gay cartoon character was/is?

And all this time I had been bragging about you behind the scenes.quote> Oh, come on! I was being sarcastic! So, what were you bragging about, eh? Please send me a PM, if you wanna say Zel: Interesting. What if you had played Tombraider instead, eh?

Please don't bump old threads... But, since you have something to contribute (I guess) why don't you tell your story of how you discovered that you were gay?
  13. SimTropolis Tools

Darn...Does anyone have ST Tools V106? I seem to have misplaced my copy, and the attachment was deleted with the forum upgrade.

  15. World AIDS Day 2006

YES they carry a virus that is infectious, but you need contact with a body fluid.quote> we can educate peoplequote> Only exchange bodily fluids with a reputable, reliable AIDS/HIV free(as tested) source! Or, don't mix fluids at all(since no other way, including the practice of "safe sex" is 100 percent effective)! Remember children; you must do what YOU can to stop AIDS! Gay/Straight, Sober/Addicted, Old or Young, you can do it!
  16. On the subject of scale

Here are a few of my scale numbers. As you can tell, I like to keep everything within a certain mathematical standard of denomination, etc to simplify calculations. Standard issue building floorplate level: 5 Meters. Variances of +/-1M used for first/top floors sometimes. Parapet/low wall height: 2M Average space from building to sidewalk: 4-8 M (if lot is to be "full") W2W limits: flush fit on edge, 4M seperation from front and back Column thicknesses: Stone: .75-1.25 M Steel: .125-.375M Horizontal mullion extrusions: .125-.375M Entry/doors: 3-3.5 M H 1-1.5 M W Window Spacings: Varies from 2-4 meters, depending on window size. Skyscrapers on average 3. Column spacings: 2-6 M, on center; depending on layout Grid Snaps: .125, .25 Grid Spacing: 16, 20 Steps: .25 M extruded: front faces of polygons detached, and textured seperately for emphasis. Trims: .125-1M, depending on relative scale of building, architectural style, etc. Wall Thickness: .375M Glass Thickness: 1>0M

All this is is an idea for a possible future project, that can inspire BATers, in case they are having trouble coming up with ideas. I'm trying to gauge reception from you guys to see if it could be a possibility. From how you guys are responding its not going to go through. And a note to the modds, you can shut this thread down if you want. Judgeing by the response from people like ACEfanatic, there is not alot of reception for new ideas in these fourms.quote> This is why we do not take BAT requests. Most of the people who post such things act like they are obligated to have their requests fuilfilled by the hard working BATters of this community. And furthermore, they also act like there is a massive conspiracy against them, and their often exceptionally unreasonable requests (ohnoes! The BATters hate me, and are after me for posting a request!!!!!!!11111111oneoneoneeleventeendollarsandseventyfivecents). So, either learn the BAT, take a shot in the BAT request thread, or move on. The only way to get what you want is to work for it. That is what I have been doing for myself.
  19. Calgary Project

No, but it's worth posting it into the official BAT request thread!
