Preview of a large sort of ringroad/interchange I am working on: Plus an overall view: The last image is just meant to be an overview of the general interchange/roundabout shape. I took the screenie prior to adding details seen in the first screenie. As well, the buildings in the core will be replaced with ultra-tall highrises; building up, way up instead of out. The lots for those buildings are all done in Lot editor. Enjoy the pictures!

Awesome stuff! Considering the fact that I was on a holiday here just yesterday, I have got to say I have gained considerable respect for this project. I took 1137 photos of Columbus and surrounding area, mostly of the road infrastructure. So if you need some reference photos, I'm bound to have 'em. Great stuff!

Nicely executed. The snow effect really gives evokes the feeling of an ever-changing environment, me likey. : )

Wow that's outstanding work! I really like those Bell trucks, considering I see them all the time; being in Canada and all. My only complaint is that the blue used on the flatbed is a bit too harsh for my taste. I suppose you could either desaturate the colour a bit, or darken to more of a "navy blue" colour. Great stuff! Perhaps you could give those who show interest (aka. the members who commented on this topic) a premature preview; an early chance to download the models.

Great stuff! I'll be able to give you five/five stars once you get four entries completed. :)

My personal achievments include a gritty city from a seemingly alternate reality: As well as my first ever lot, so much work was put into this; I gave it my all: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=23068

Wow, could it really be?! HD vehicles now!

Nicely done! That blur effect on the last photo is very well executed. As well, the silhouetted buildings in picture 2 look quite seedy. Thus why I like them. Have you ever thought about making this CJ even semi-interactive. I believe it could add a whole new edge, and open up a window of possibilities for you. After all, a wide selection of readers "interacting" with the CJ could point you to a variety of ghetto lots you may not have known about. I say give it a try!

I know I have some French W2W building that are ploppable, and they work just fine. I have been using these buildings for months now, maybe even a year. I believe the buildings were created by xxanexpen, or someone with a similar name. When I plop my W2W blocks, I make sure to have an almost even mix of commercial and residential, though with a bit more commercial. This system, if you will, has worked quite well for some time. I have never experienced abandonment problems with these buildings.

Nice stuff! I really like this "outside of the box" vibe going on here. We need more city jounals like this. Consider me a follower of the Precioustown CJ.

This sounds quite interesting, I'll have to look into it further and see if it is aired in Canada. Great find!
