Question- Which OS actually works better for SimCity 4? I have XP and that's fine, but since my computer is newer and could run Windows 7 with some inexpensive upgrades, and since XP is almost 9 years old, is 7 and SimCity 4 compatible without many glitches?

I am using a Sony LBT-D560 tuner/cd player/tape deck all-in-one (free from my neighbors), would like a vintage Pioneer My speakers are Sansui SP-X6 ca. 1980 (free from my aunt) I also own a Bose Wave Music System (free from my grandmother) JVC PC-R11JW receiver, I believe it was part of a boombox system ca. 1980-ish (from my mom) 2 old Califone portable record player from ca. 1970-ish (free from school) about 12 records, but my mom owns about 75 Also an RCA 5.1 surround sound in the living room ($20 yard sale find) EDIT: Just bought a Realistic CD-1500 from 1987 for $15 to replace the broken CD player in my receiver

It was fine until I started to use PEG's Scenic Drive kit, and then things started to get bad. Nothing I try to rotate will rotate.The tab button works when I am typing a document but It doesn't work in the game. Also, certain pieces of PEG's Scenic Drive cannot be demolished. Why?

I still can't get some of the pieces to demolish. I tried de-zoning them because that helps sometimes but it didn't this time.

I have deleted all of my old NAM and NAM components folders, used the cleanitol tool and reinstalled all ofthe newest NAM files, including the NWM. All of the other components (like the SAM, etc) work fine, but when I go to place a NWM starter piece, I hear the "thump" of the piece being plopped, but it isn't visible and I cannot drag a road over where it was placed. However, I can still demolish it even though it is not visible! Am I doing something wrong, or is it a problem with the NWM? Oh yeah, I also get a bubble that says "Intersection Placement String Missing" before i place the piece.

I did put the piece on top of the neighbor connection but the arrows didn't change direction, are they supposed to? After I put the piece down my freight trucks would actually turn around and go back instead of crossing the border!

I found the plugins_compressed folder and deleted the compressed NAM components and it now works! One more question- when using the TLA-5, the neighbor connection arrows both point the same direction. Will that mess up my network, make the traffic flow in one direction on both sides of the road?

Sorry I took so long to respond. I got busy and you know how that goes... I tried using the cleanitol with no results and I cannot seem to find the folder where the dat-packed items go- it used to be in the plugins folder, but I can't find it. I didn't delete it and I looked in my recycle bin with no results. Any other ideas?

Could I use the cleanitol to look for older files? I used it for the first time yesterday and I don't quite know how to use it.

I try for realism, but sometimes I just zone away and let the computer take over. Most of my cities up until about six months ago were just that- I would add random roads and put in zones wherever. But now I look ahead and add things from the beginning that will be needed in the near future since they usually help bring people to the region/cities. I like to built large custom parks and put lots of trees all over for a more natural look.As for the money, I use the money tree mod so I don't worry about money.

For me, grade 3 was from 1998-1999. What a traumatic experience! I had a teacher who had a heavy spanish accent and we could barely understand her! She wasn't really mean, but she wasn't very good at teaching! And, to make things worse, some little jerk thought it was fun to kick and throw rocks on the playground (while standing right next to me), and you can guess how that ended... 3 stitches in my head! I didn't like the idea of someone sewing my head shut so I freaked out and it took I think 8 people to hold me down. My mom pulled me out of public school when she found out that the kid was sent home for the day as punishment! I was homeschooled for the rest of grade three and all of grade four, along with my sister who was in 8th grade, so I had lots of fun the rest of the year!

Could someone make a map of the Mohave County area of northwest Arizona? Maybe the northern half? I specifically want Kingman and the surrounding area. That's my hometown and I've been looking for Arizona maps for a long time!

As can be seen in this picture, I am missing driveways, fences, etc. on my houses. This is true for medium and high wealth, low, medium or high density, and all of my businesses. I have some smaller trees or shrubs in my high wealth neighborhoods, but I have no plant growth in low wealth. I think it may be one of my many plugins but I'm not sure where to start. I have downloaded a few different tree and parking lot textures- would that have something to do with it? Here's a picture- (specs- 2.2GHz Athlon 64x2, 512 MB GeForce 7200GS, 2GB RAM, 250 GB HDD with 175GB free, Windows XP Pro SP3, and my page file is 371 MB used and 3567MB available. ) I run Deluxe Edition. Any help is appreciated as I think a house without trees or a driveway looks bad! Not to mention unrealistic. Thanks!
