I'm looking for a file I used to have a while ago. It would plop over a road and block types of traffic. IE: only allow pedestrians / no freight / etc. Anyone have a link to this? That's would be amazing, thanks

I have played all the betas so far. I thoroughly enjoyed each. The simulation is very intuitive and glassbox is amazing. I like that things are displayed as they are happening (unlike SC4 which just piles in traffic to SIMulate it). It really adds a whole new element to the game. Haters are gonna keep on saying that it's not like SC4 and they are right! It's totally different and IMO a whole NEW way to experience a Sim City game. after completing all the betas I have pre-ordered it. -

Sandbox mode was a great way to see some of the features that would have otherwise taking too long to acquire in this short time. -

Not sure if this should have gone in the Can't find it thread... since it's not really that type of request. Willstran Corp Tower (Grown not plopped and has 18k jobs!) only shows base textures. I am using CAM but I downloaded the file from the STEX. Am I missing something? Where is the rest of the building. I have Stage 14 buildings in my city and I was sure I had gotten all the files for all the CAM lots but I guess I'm missing something for this one. I need some help. Thanks LINK to picture of my building missing its structure.

When you put the lot in your plugins, did you put in the .sc4model file as well. It is the graphic image of the building. All the files are in my folder 1. Willtrans Corp Tower XXX.SC4Desc 2. Willtrans Corp Tower XXX.SC4Lot 3. WLTRNSCRP XXX.SC4Model it functions as intended minus the actual model... according to the STEX there aren't any dependencies for it so I'm not sure what's wrong. Unless there is another version that I don't have? -

Can anyone help me find plopable parks with trees? Like filler lots with some good trees.. If it were random trees that would make it look more natural but I'll take what I can find. Thanks.

I'm looking for anything that will turn off my advisors. I'm tired of them telling me that my education is junk when in fact it's fine. I'm not talking about the pop-up window they make.. I have that turned off. I just want them gone all together.

Its biggest issue IMO was the lack up multi-core functionality. You have a conceptually great game that runs on a single core? Fix that and it will be a lot more stable.

CAM is available at SC4 Devotion. Use the link on the left side of the home page. Be sure to read up on it. It's quite a alteration of the game and has certain requirements. It took me a while to get all the dependencies for CAM. I suggest that you make a folder and put all of your CAM plugins inside it. Save them all to an External HD or something of that nature. Should you ever need the back up, they will all be there in one location without the need to download again. Its something like 700+ MB in size for JUST my CAM stuff

I'm looking for a lot with the sole purpose of creating pollution. My city always fills up with High Tech Industry and I never can get it to feel dirty. I need some pollution. --- Sorry this was meant to be in the "Cant find it" thread but I can't seem to delete my post. I think most people either forget or don't know that the skyline of NYC directly reflects the bedrock below. The shorter buildings in the middle of the city is due to the bedrock being too far below the surface, whereas on the north and south ends, the bedrock is shallow and makes for a firm foundation close with easy access.

After multiple install attempts, I would suggest cleaning your registry before trying again. -
I have played so many games.. I don't even know where to begin if I were to list them all, but thats not what this topics about.. so, What keeps me playing a game? First is content, Second is Community. This is one of the few single player games I have stuck with simply because it has community. When I stopped playing world of warcraft, it wasn't the game I missed, It was the community. If you want to have a successful game these days, whether it's a developer creating a game.. or people trying to keep one around, you have to have community.
