According to Police Aviation Controller: Sargent W.R.Lea-Bird; They where responding to an 'Under cover cop's report of discovering a den of crime'. He went on: In their enthusiasm to be first on the scene, the two choppers where first observed to cross thier rotor blade discs. Thats all we know at this time The crash that followed is too horrific to 'air', but the footage has been given to the Sim NTSB for futher invesigation. quote> Those are some pretty steep beaches you have there... It would be funny, but I'm not funny. quote> Go on and be funny, i can take it, after all this is a 'Funny' Pictures thread. Anyway, those steep beaches are my idea of a deep shipping channel, after all have you seen the room a Sea Port takes? And then i got just a little bit carried away with the leveling tool! What more can i say? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've got another 'Funny' 'In Game' shot for you all, and of course the 'Sim NTSB'! Could this be the first ever shot of a 'Sim Marine Accident', i wonder? Headline: Ship totals Ferry! What do you think? Anyone else got any 'Marine Accidents'?

Date:10/22/2004 5:04:44 PM Author:Mistro atually there not floating. There supported like bridges all the way from the bottom. As for power line bridges... what do they look like? quote> Nope, they don't seem to be supported all the way down at all. So they must be floating. And how would such a bridge look? Well usually, like a suspension bridge but without the vehicle deck. It's called the catenary wire method, and the power cable is hung from the suspension cable. With this way of doing it, great distances can be spanned. Hope that helps. Cheers.

Date:10/20/2004 6:58:11 PM Author:Dr. Neitchskrimfrauwnmoya I wonder how it feels when you have 750 kV powerlines crossing your appartment... quote> So how about some Floating Pylons then? I wonder why they didn't produce a proper power lines bridge for Rush Hour? Anyone got any ideas? Cheers.

Question: How many Women does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: * One, to notice that the light doesn't work. * One, to find a Man to report it to. * One, female Elecrician: to be instructed to fix it, by the Man. * One, female Trainee Electrician: to go fetch a new bulb. * One, extra female helper: to hold the ladder. * One, extra female helper: to hold the female Electricians hem down, whilst up the ladder. * One, extra female helper: to go fetch the coffees and rolls. * One, extra female helper: to check every ones 'Hair and Make Up', and guard the tool box. * One, extra female helper: to check if anyone is suffering from PMS/PMT, and will become giddy during the operation. * One, extra female helper: to guard all the handbags, and field all the gossip from passers by. * Six, extra female helpers: to pick up the Ladder with the female Electrician on it, and rotate the lot, in order to twist the new bulb into its lamp holder. * And finally, one extra female helper: to flip the light switch, to check if the whole operation was successful. The Grand Total equals: Seventeen. The Final Answer is: It takes a whole 'Brood of Women' (Hens) to change a light bulb. No, i didn't write it. Honest, it wasn't me. Really, you should ask him. I'm sure he must be the one! [Maybe] By: Phil E. Ment.

OK then, how about this one. I'd just started a new city and just layed in the first roads, seconds later up comes the red ticker message. It [sC4] just can't wait to get started with the nagging! I reckon that i could just as easily have posted this screen shot in the in the 'Bugs and Technical Issues' forum, but what the heck, i can see the funny side. What do you guys think?

  11. OK OK, i'll fall for it! Quote: Golfbunny. 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is lamp So i feel i must say, as one who works in the Elecrical Installation Industry, that it's actually called either a 'Lamp', or a 'Luminaire'. I just had to go for it, and make Golfbunny right! I know, i know, here comes the stick! So who's gonna be first? P.S. That's simply a brilliant post, you started of with GB. Great Job!
  12. What voice do you hear when you see the person's avatar above you? I hear a young womans voice, loudly proclaiming: Look, that was NOT me! What you heard was the fence creeking, when i leant on it! Honestly! [Whilst going very red!] I appologise in advance, splinter, it's just this humorous thought struck me about the avatar picture, and i just had to have a laugh with it. Sorry.
  13. Yes, actualy that does suprise me. It just goes to show that there is a lot in a name, and avatar. At least i was half right about you and your talents. Not a bad guess then!

  15. 'Hirachi' suggests a Japanese person, I hear a clipped form of Japanese: Hi, Hi, Velly Good Wark, Hi! The avatar indicates an intellegence relating to art and geometry, and working in a language that is not necessarily his 1st language suggests intellegence as well. I'd say this helps me to take what he says fairly seriously.

  17. I go back to SimCity 3000 about twice a month to re-visit some favourite old cities. Also because i sometimes wonder: 'how did i do that in the old game'. The thing that i miss most about SC3K is that once the finances were sorted, the city mostly stayed on financial auto-pilot. And then you could concentrate on what SimCity is really all about: Building Cities!
  18. London relief

Thank you very much, you've saved me so much work trying to make this for myself.
  19. Centre Point

As a Londoner, i've driven under this building many times. Could it be possible to add the road underneath this building, please. But other than that, you've done a great job with this building. The lighting is very good. 9/10.
  20. North Point Plaza
