Nice! I live in Kenosha and now I don't have to make my own map!
  2. GLR two tram problem

That's right, Biriali. You'll need to remove the following four files to stop those trams from appearing. BSC_SFBT_glr_light_rail_automata_blue.dat BSC_SFBT_glr_light_rail_automata_green.dat BSC_SFBT_glr_light_rail_automata_red.dat BSC_SFBT_glr_light_rail_automata_yellow.dat
  3. GLR-to-Subway transition issues

I figured it out. Despite having just downloaded it within the past two weeks I somehow managed to grab an outdated version of the Global Essentials file. I got the proper one and everything is working fine now.
  4. The ST 6.0 Department of Technical Affairs

I can't seem to perform a search. Anything I search for simply gives me the following message: "Your search contained ignored words, ignored words are words like a,and,to,between. Please re-construct your search without these ignored words." That happens with every search I try to perform, even if I haven't used any of those words. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and using Firefox 3.6.3.
  5. GLR-to-Subway transition issues

So, I'm having an issue with the GLR-to-Subway transition. I'm getting a brown box (well, actually I use the multi-color smudge mod) despite having the required dependencies. Anyone have any ideas about this?
  6. transition NDEX GLR-to-Subway Transition

Having the same brown box issue. I have the NDEX Essentials and the Rail To Subway Transition both installed and still getting the brown box.
  7. ***** haz transit questions

The textures match SimGoobers canal lots. You need at least his base set for that. The CAN-AM pieces do look a bit bland when they are first plopped but after the game runs for a short time the tiles develop some sparkle and life.

  9. Lot orientation arrows

I only get them at 5 and 6, which is too damn close for convenience. I'll keep messing around and see if I can't figure it out.

Other than my screen resolution I'm using default settings.

And they're fun. If it's not your bag, fine. But I don't see why people who don't want to voluntarily take part have to restrict it for all. Land of the free, my ass. As far as I'm concerned it's an individual rights issue far more than a societal one. And I say the facts should speak for themselves. Unfortuantely, the people who need to hear them most are the first ones to utterly ignore them.

Obviously there's a conflict somewhere, but I was hoping someone might know exactly what caused it. I have the newest NAM, the CAM and about a million other things and I REALLY don't want to have to go through all of it to find the problem. Also, is there a way to stop the obnoxious crash and rumble when something is demolished? I thought I saw a way somewhere, but can't seem to find it.
  13. Legalization of cannabis

How about we follow Portugal's example? They decriminalized ALL drugs in 2001. http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1893946,00.html The paper, published by Cato in April, found that in the five years after personal possession was decriminalized, illegal drug use among teens in Portugal declined and rates of new HIV infections caused by sharing of dirty needles dropped, while the number of people seeking treatment for drug addiction more than doubled. "Judging by every metric, decriminalization in Portugal has been a resounding success," says Glenn Greenwald, an attorney, author and fluent Portuguese speaker, who conducted the research. "It has enabled the Portuguese government to manage and control the drug problem far better than virtually every other Western country does."quote>
  14. New Official BAT Request Thread

So, I know I'm somewhat *****ie-ish and I don't post a whole lot, but I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to BAT a transit lot for me? I need (well, want, really) a 5x5 GLR/Rail and/or GLR/El Rail hub. Parking lots on the East & West, one tile of double rail track in the center and GLR tracks on each side of that, with street facings on either parking end. Maybe have trees or green space in the 4 corners with parking in just the middle three tiles? Something like this: ^ ^ P P P P P T P P P T G S S S G G S S S G R S S S R or R S S S R G S S S G G S S S G P P P P P T P P P T P= parking G= GLR R= Rail S=Station building T= trees, plazas, green space, etc. Ideally I'd like something simple and with four co-existing color variantions like the red, blue, green & yellow NAM tram stations or brenda_xne's modern metro/subway stations. Otherwise a transparent/semi-transparent modern look would be cool, too. Any dependencies are fine because I pretty much have everything.

Alt for zones, Home/End for lots. Page Up/Page Down rotates the map.
