  1. I'm running Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition with a plugin folder of roughly 4Gb. Today I was in one of my cities saving frequently...all seemed normal until my final save in which I used the "save to region" option. Upon loading of the region view, I realized that my city had completely disappeared from the region view. I can't even click on the square...its gone! Can my city be recovered or is it gone for good? Has anyone else ever experienced this problem? I searched the forums and couldn't find any previous cases but maybe I just wasn't searching the right words. Anyways your help is very much appreciated!
  2. ReZonePlus

Great Mod! Sure it can be exploited as Oliver Lock mentions, but that is not even an issue, because those who play for realism will not exploit such a bug. I will definitely be using this! Thanks!
  3. hkabat-forum-threads Amthaak BATS Thread

Wow a very detailed BAT! And it's great to see that you are taking the time to perfect it.
  4. Roger's Hidden Lights

Wow I love your attention to detail. I just browsed through your CJ and it all looks very impressive! That's a massive region! I can't wait to see how you fill it in.
  5. NTM's BAT Workshop II

Well it's been a long time since I've really browsed around ST but I have to say you have made a lot of improvement since you first started BATing. Keep up the great work!
  6. Eh not a major gap...nothing too serious...and it's looking great! You have quite a few projects going on, I can't wait to see more!
  7. nybt-forum-threads Happy Birthday NYBT

Two years already?! Wow the time flies! You guys have some great BATs pumping out of here...great work everyone!
  8. nybt-forum-threads SimFox NYC BAT lab

SimFox is so good at what he does...he is now apparently plural. I just wish that the "SimFoxes" of this community continue their great work.
  9. I'm going to go with $$ as well.
  10. It's been awhile since I've commented but don't worry I've been lurking about. Looking good Aaron! You're filling a great gap in the New York building set. Hopefully you have your computer problems sorted out...it's always great seeing your updates.
  11. Your system build!

Sorry what HDDs are you getting? the hyperlink leads to the graphic card, and the graphics card link is broken. And I know what you mean about the hard drives! Windows rated me around 6.8 because of the hard drive alone.
  12. Beekman is progressing beautifully! Don't overload yourself now with too many BATs but I'm glad to see that there's a few projects in the pipeline.
  13. Urbs Romana - The Roman City

Amazing work is going on here Rene, this is beautiful stuff, and it will definitely add flavor to the game! It seems you are learning the BAT quite fast, at least thats how it appears in my eyes.
  14. Future of Sevaio V'uur Préte

Wow this looks great. You put NOBs stuff to great use! I'm inspired! Can't wait to see more.
  15. Your system build!

I wonder how far we can go before Moore's law finally reaches its limit.
  16. This is progressing beautifully. It gets better and better with each update. It's proof that with dedication, you can get the desired result. I can't wait to see this released! But take your time, its going very well.
  17. Your system build!

@Nonny Moose: It's amazing how far the technology has come, right? I'm young but I still can't get over the face that what once fit in a clunky hard drive and stacks of CD's in the 90s can now fit in a piece of plastic and metal the size of a fingernail. I remember playing online games and getting kicked off every time a phone call came in. Maximum memory used to be 512MB and now you can't even stick anything lower than 1GB sticks in modern boards due to compatibility issues.

  19. I haven't tried running the game on a 5000 or 6000 series radeon but I do plan on it in the near future. Most likely I'll be buying a 6950 card with 2GB of memory for the current system I'm building so lets see how it goes.
  20. nybt-forum-threads Guerrila NYBT BATs

SC4 is definitely cheap these days...In fact, EA is selling the "sim city box" for only $20 US and it includes SC4 and RH along with 3 other sim games.
  21. Urbs Romana - The Roman City

Great progress Rene! You seem to be learning the BAT quickly. I can't wait to see how this progresses. I feel guilty that I never was able to finish the Jackie Robinson Pool for your NYC journal, but I'm building a new PC so maybe I'll get a crack at it in the near future.
  22. Sleep tight under the sands...

Wow very impressive stuff here! I love your photo editing, it definitely makes me forget that I'm looking at SC4 screenshots!
  23. Wow great start to Beekman tower! I can't wait to see how this develops. I can't wait until I finish building my desktop so I can finally have a computer to begin and practice BATing on.
  24. Thanks for the link! Yea they are very time consuming but it looks great in the end. Also, I'm just curious, where do the underground avenues in the last picture lead to?
  25. Very nice! I love the retaining walls in the first picture...where can I find those?
