I've recently optimized my computer for premium media usage. I have not used this computer for several months and I have deleted everything in my SimCity 4 plugins folder. But when I play the game, I keep getting random lines that cut through my landscape and water. Can anyone help me get rid of these? also, when a ferry or other boat passes, I see them temporarily disappear accordingly to the lines. I'm running on Windows XP and I have SimCity 4 and Rush Hour. I'll give you the spec. later. Many thanks to anyone who has helped me.

When I played a few years ago on the same computer and the same settings, I didn't get this problem. Could it be some other kind of issue we're talking about?

"Mono" means one right? well, in SimCity 4, monorails have two rails unlike real life. So why are they called Monorails? Some even claim monorails create a fair amount of pollution...Monorails in real life are powered by electricity. We have a serious issue with monorails... or should I say....Bi-rails? Ps. how about ground monorails?

SimCity 4 isn't really complete without Rush Hour. so I strongly recommend you get it... To install almost anything...just move the contents (everything exept for the readme or pictures) to My Documents/SimCity 4/ Plugins. and if your file contains an .exe type file, just run it and it will install automatically.. I messed up my SimCity 4 registration...I really wanted to download the Maxis landmarks and props but I forgot my password...so I tried to recover it but they said the account didn't exist...(I was pretty sure it 100% existed) So I checked my email to see if my account activation was there...and I remembered that I DELETED it. I then decided to make a new one...and a similar thing happened... I checked my other email to see if the activation email was there, and it was there so I activated my account but it said my account didn't exist... CAN SOMEONE UPLOAD THE PROPS AND LANDMARKS TO THIS THREAD!

I just burn abandoned buildings...it's more fun than just bulldozing it. and Area 51: what's the point of it? besides fun... there's like heaps of ice-cream trucks and getaway vans....
