Although I already posted this, I hope yuo saw it... Could you make the airports have capacities (and maybe jobs?) Thanks!
-
Also, I didn't say this in my last post... you made a great news article! It looks so real and fantastic!

Hey Ace! I think your airport pack is great, and I have a few suggestions. First, maybe make elevated rail stations that are seperate lots, but connect and look good with the concourses and termianls. This way, we can connect our airports to our main elevated/glr rail lines, or we can make a small, inter-terminal elevated rail line. Another idea is that I think the different concourses should have capacities and possibly jobs. I want to make a realistic airport, but I think it wouldn't be realistic enough if there weren't capacities. Capacities I think are really need... badly, while jobs on the other hand should be put in if you want to. I care more about having an airport with actual plane traffic than having jobs, but I think both should be put in if you can! Thanks so much if you do this! I would appreciated it so much. Other than those suggestions, your airport pack rocks! P.S.-I know you are not accepting requests, but I just really wanted to point out the whole 'capacity' thing. Sorry, and thanks!

You take the Avenue and make a straight section. Next you make the straight avenue turn diagonal. Right where the straigt avenue transitions into the diagonal, add some one-way road in a way as if you were continuing the right side lane of the avenue. Also add some where it would be as if you were starting the diagonal's right lane. If you are still confused, say so, and I will post pictures. That would be perfectly okay with me! \ || \|| |\\ | \\

Ok. Let me change them. Thanks for the information. I didn't know that! EDIT: I changed all the ones in my latest post, except for the llama's, and you will find the reason why in that post. Thanks!

I like this! It is very creative! I have a few questions... What airport pack do you use? Where do you get it? Is it functional, (With capacities and all?) Thanks!

I like those interchanges alot Haljackey! Anyways, here are a few more I made, although they may not be the most exciting. This one here is my 8 way avenue intersection. Some of you may have already figured out how to do this, but I think it looks big and sort of cool. It is a pretty simple interchange, if it even is an interchange. This interchange is a little one involving a one way road going around an two elevated highways, having 8 different on/off ramp sets in the total interhcange. This allows access to all directions of the highway. (mind the city.) Here is an avenue interchange. The reason I used road instead of one way road is because it would allow you to turn from the exit and go either way to access the direction you need to go. Here is a little something I figured out. Although it is not an interchange, I just wanted to show you guys. Now if you notice in this next pictures, I have two road corners, and two one way road corners. Now in each set, one of the corners is smoother and not as sharp as the other corner. I just wanted to show it off! I think it is pretty cool. It can be used to make curvier corners without taking up extra space. P.M. me if you want to know how to do it! Next up here is a little avenue intersection. Now those one way roads are something you commonly see in North America. In North America, when you are at a stoplight and you need to turn right, you can usually do so without waiting, but at some intersections they use these to keep traffic flowing so if you are going right, you do not have to turn a jagged turn at a stop light/intersection. It took me a little trouble to get the avenues and one way roads to coopoerate just right with each other. Next up here is an interchange for my avenue and large avenue. (My large avenue is what you see there, with the avenue in the middle and one way road/halves of avenues two spaces away on either side.) This is going to be the center of my city. This manages traffic very well. I used one way road, one way road overpasses over avenue, an avenue roundabout, avenue, (You can also see my elevated/ground light rail in the corner.) As I said before, this works extremely well. (Once I build my city this far out, the large avenue will look more city like, although it looks very rural right now.) Here is the point where an avenue changes into a large avenue. You can also see a little experiment with the ground light rail in the corner. I made this so traffic can spread out. It is fairly easy to make, although you need to know how to make halves of avenues. Now, last, but not least, the llamas! (My brother and I made a farm in our city, and it grew into a llama and apple farm! Thanks, and I hope you liked my interchanges! (Forgive me if the last one is .PNG and you can't see it. My computer blocks it when it is in .JPEG format.)

Wow! Delta, I like your interchanges. You have a very creative and good-looking way of using the R.H.W. I will also post some more interchanges soon! I can't wait for haljackey's!

I have some more images of interchanges I made. I hope you like them! I made this interchange just to add some creativity. It manages traffic quite well. (I removed the cars.) The road is one way road, and I used the elevated highway to ground highway transitions found in the N.A.M. I hope you like it! Here is a large rail interchange I made. I used the N.A.M. rail puzzle pieces in this. I like to be creative. This is for ruaral rail routes that have a lot of room to spread out. Use this also if your rail lines get congested. Here is a little avenue and one way road intersection I made. It goes well with Glenni's diagonal buildings. It is not really an interchange, but I was just experimenting and wanted to show it off. From the picture, you should be able to understand how it is made. I posted this right? I want to post it again. I like it alot. Don't complain if you already saw it, please. It is like one of those things that you want to show to everyone and say, "Looky, Looky! Look what I did! Yay!" If you want to see the description, look on page 6. I hope everyone liked my interchanges. Thanks!

I created an Interchange. It is somewhat like a cloverleaf, although not exactly the same. I created it using ground highways, european lateral highway exits, and the N.A.M. 90° Road Curves.

Real Highway (RHW) - Development and Support
CowboySean replied to qurlix's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
I think the textures for the Road, Avenue, One-Way Road, etc., overpasses needs to be fixed. The RHW doen't seem to blend well with these. Tell me if it has been fixed and I just don't know it. Thanks!- 3,919 Replies

Are there any release dates yet for the RHW-10, RHW-8, and RHW-8C? Thanks! (I need these bad! I am so excited!) -
Franticfantom bat: underground motorway!
CowboySean replied to franticfantom's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Could you post some of your own ideas and possibly pictures (if you have made any developement yet)? That could help a lot! Explain to us what this exactly is! -
This is a splendid city Journal Jason! I can see a lot of potential in this! I can't wait to see it as it keeps growing! Maybe show a few regional pictures too every once in a while! Sweet Douglas Oranges! (Yum...)

Great work. Keep building! It looks great!

Wow great idea! Could you make a smaller version too? The wmaller version would have smaller amounts and radiuses. This is a great, yet realistic idea to stop air pollution in the city, instead of using Modds!. I think it would look good too if it had a cement texture instead of grass on the ground. Awesome!

I downloaded one of Vester D.K.'s glr trams off of S.C.4. Devotion, but I accidently installed it four times. Now what happens is the tram appears on the u-drive-it menu four times! Does anyone know how I can fix this so that it shows up on the menu once?

I post that same idea a few posts further up. I see it all the time around my city, and believe it would be a cool idea.

I have designed some custom buildings for a city/region I am building, but I have no experience in B.A.T.ing my self. If anyone would be kind enough to create these buildings for me, P.M. me on the website! Secondly, I have ideas for a new modular airport pack, and if these ideas were created, they would probably gain a lot of popularity. I want to be able to have a customizable airport, and what I see right now (no offense) isn't what I am quite looking for, so if anybody wants to do this for me, P.M. me and I can give you my ideas. Thanks!

Sometimes in the middle of a city, I see interstates abd highways intersecting with roads, streets and avenues, but instead of using on-ramps and off-ramps, they intersect using traffic lights. I was wonderinbg if you could add intersections like that into the game, where you would have 'road x ground highway', 'avenue x ground highway', 'street x ground highway', and 'ground highway x ground highway' intersections. If you put those in, you could make urban highways seem more realistic! Also, could you create urban highways that have 4 lanes? I was thinking that the N.A.M. needs 4 lane highways, in which there are 2 lanes on the right, and 2 on the left. You would also need a transition from the 6 lanes, to the 4 lanes. I also think that you should have 6 lane highway in which one lane on each side is a carpool lane. The carpool laned highway would be slightly more expensive, but would also help reduce traffic and air pollution in that area. My third idea is simple: an elevated rail over elevate highway. (I am sorry if this has already been suggested. Please don't delete my post if it has. I just didn't see it anywhere.) If you take in my requests I will be very happy. Thanks!
