I've been doing some updating of the Kowloon - Central area again, (Mostly because I got this cool new street and avenue mod), but also I wanted to show you a few new Photoshoping techniques that I've learned over the last week. It took me literally hours to fuggier it out but I think this looks fairly close to realistic water. Sorry about the bit where it eats up the boat though.....lol. Hope you like it! All the rest of the images are of updated areas in Kowloon or new areas in the lower Hung Hom district. Star Ferry Updated! Now using Pegasus docks which look a lot more realistic. CLICK FOR FULL IMAGE I've got a new update in the pipeline already, will probably be posted this afternoon. Also I've made this huge horizontal panorama of the area stretching down the peninsular and onto central with Photoshopped water that I'll try and post too. Replies WILL be in next update, sorry, I'm just stretched for time at the moment.

Haha, you need to get your self a copy of Sim City 4! (If you don't already have it). That's why a lot of people don't want to play SCS it in the first place. But in time I'm sure some mods will come along that will make it more of a challenge.

Yea, my computer takes about 3-4 min to load SC4 to a city with 2.5 GB of plugins, just wait around for a bit and it should load. If it's not your plugins that's the problem then I suspect that it may by your disc. I had a problem loading up SimCity3000 once and had the same thing happen to me as you say happened to you. I just took out the disc, wiped it off and it worked fine. If that doesn't work then do what Tungston said. Hope this will help.

Thanks for the feedback guys! HONG KONG, that's not a bad idea, an Asian Prop Pack. Something like HKABT Street Props Pack? Maybe I could work on that in the New Year after I've got the street pack released. Still working away on this, the amount of time I’m spending on this one is not good... Trying to get in as much detail as possible unlike the last two because I think this one resembles a Tai-Po district mid 70's Residential tower a lot more than a Tsim Sha Tsui one (It’ll be the odd one out of the pack so it has to look good).

Damn it! That is nice, those avenues that you make really are amazing. The only little thing I'd like to see more of is some photoshoping (Like in the last mosaic) but other than that perfect.

We've seen a lot of this sort of stuff from you before but it sure dose never fail to impress, keep it up Hotdogs!

Ever herd of a thing called a dependency file? They're separate downloads that you need in order for some lot's to work properly. If you need a dependency for a download, the creator will list in the README file (or just in the description) and give you a link to where to download it (basically you're probably missing either a prop of model file). Another thing that can cause what we've nicknamed 'brown-boxes' is not installing something properly. Make sure you've got ALL the files in your plugins folder that you're supposed to. Hope this helps!

Hey Bixel, Just looking around Google Earth and came across this image: IT'S THE REAL LIFE MONG KOK BLOCK! ... Now that I think about it, it actually looks very similar to your street scene.
