Modeled after the Life Guard Tower on the pier in San Clemente, CA where I grew up, this Life Guard Tower for the OWW2 PierSet adds an extra touch of realism and interest to your piers. Normally placed near to the shore, Lifeguards in the tower have a bird's-eye view of the surrounding coastal area and are often ideally located to direct and/or effect rescues. The lot compares to most of the other PierSet sections in propeties except that it has a small degree of extra park and landmark value. The lot also features a custom query with special stats that reflect current conditions within the city. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

The focal point of many public piers is often the actual end of the pier. Commonly, there is some sort of attraction to lure pier dwellers out to the end... other than the end itself. This 3x3 end-section for the OWW2 PierSet is no exception. The Pier House is a compilation of the types of attractions you'd expect to find at the end of a busy & popular public pier. There are small & unique shops along the outside and central mall... including Ginger's Gifts and Vandy Cartography. The Pier House Bar & Grill offers wonderful seafood in a picturesque sit-down environment while the fisherman on the go can enjoy the ever popular Smelt on a Stick from the outside snack area. The lot is extensively nite-lited and is also Christmas EnabledTM with colored Christmas lights that appear during the Holiday season (game time). The lot also features new, custom animated fishermen props that appear early in the morning and depart shortly after dark. * All of the modular PierSet lots are parks... affordably priced with reduced park & landmark effects to avoid blowing over demand caps They are located only in the Water Transportation menu, directly below the other OWW2 lots.. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

A common sight on many longer public piers is a mid-way public restroom... which can be very convenient when you're out on the end and Nature comes a callin'. Our mid-way facilities are supported on a short "wing" attached to the pier... with Bubba's Bait & Tackle located directly across from it. This is a 1x1 addition to the OWW2 PierSet and the first of several planned specialty lots in the works to add more variety and life to your piers. Its properties are similar to those of the basic PierSet pieces but with a slightly higher plop price. The model is nite-lited and, yes... it does work out in the water. The model's pilings were also rendered to allow the game's water to flow around them and under the supported structures. * All of the modular PierSet lots are parks... affordably priced with reduced park & landmark effects to avoid blowing over demand caps They are located only in the Water Transportation menu, directly below the other OWW2 lots.. The OWW2 PierSet Boat Pass lot allows the game's water automata, including ferries and cargo ships, to pass through (under) your piers. The game treats each pier lot as a solid object and will not allow game automata to pass through. The functionally of the ferry and cargo ship paths is not affected, but the visual automata (ferries and ships) stops when it encounters a pier section. But by placing the Boat Pass lots over the paths of the ferries and cargo ships, they will pass through and continue on to their destinations. For UDI missions, the Boat Pass lots are critical. Any watercraft used in a UDI mission, will sink when it runs into a normal pier section. However, they can pass easily through or under the Boat Pass overhead bridge. This is not a normal feature that you commonly see on relatively short public or fishing pier. However, the PierSet can be used to make a visual pedestrian bridge from one point of land to another... and that could effectively block an important waterway to boat traffic. Therefore, a lot such as this could be necessary. Also, ferry and cargo ship paths often hug the shoreline for great distances, making placement of even short piers an issue if you don't want to disrupt your automata visually. Again, the BoatPass lots can resolve that potential issue. The Boat Pass lot works by creating a 2 tile wide gap in your pier... then extending a visual-only bridge section over that gap. The Boat Pass lots are always used in pairs and plopped on either side of the two tile wide gap. Each lot has 1/2 of the suspended bridge section extending beyond the lot's edge. When plopped 2 tiles apart and oriented towards each other, the complete suspended bridge section is formed. The readme file contains detailed plopping instructions for any one who might have difficulty positioning the lots. In all other regards, this is a standard 1x1 section of the PierSet with properties similar to other standard PierSet lots. * All of the modular PierSet lots are parks... affordably priced with reduced park & landmark effects to avoid blowing over demand caps They are located only in the Water Transportation menu, directly below the other OWW2 lots.. The Piers are back with this new OWW2 reincarnation of the old CDK PierSet. This package contains 6 modular lots that allow you to build old wooden piers of any length, and shape, out into the water. This is just the "starter" pack. Additional specialty lots will be released as they are developed. Your piers can be as long or short as you want them to be. They can be straight... or branch off in any direction to form any shape you can imagine. You can even run them from shore to shore across a river or a bay. Their only limitation is that they must be anchored to land using the OWW2 Pier Head lot. The lots are extremely easy to plop no matter what depth your oceans are. They always plop at the same height and absolutely no terrain editing is required to use them. Included in this package are: 1. Pier Base Lot (1x2) * This lot is used to connect your piers to shore. 2. Pier 1x (straight) Lot. (1x1) * A standard straight section of the pier. 3. Pier 4-way Lot. (1x1) * Allows you to branch off your pier in 4 different directions. Can also be used to create large, open platform areas. 4. Pier 3-way (Tee) Lot. (1x1) * Allows to you branch off your pier in 3 different directions. (standard Tee) 5. Pier Corner Lot. (1x1) * Allows you to change the direction of your pier. 6. Pier End Lot. (1x1) * A stanard End section for the pier. Can also be used with the 4-way & 3-way sections to create short side sections or "wings" on your pier that are often used as observation areas. All of these modular pier lots are parks... affordably priced with reduced park & landmark effects to avoid blowing over demand caps They are located only in the Water Transportation menu, directly below the other OWW2 lots.. This OWW2 "specialty lot" allows you to connect your OWW seawalls to the OWW PierSet modular pier building kit. In most properties, this lot is similar to the OWW2 Parking Lot lot... complete with the transit enabled driveway entrance. The lot is 1 tile wide by 3 tiles deep. It connects visually to other OWW2 lots at both the front & rear of the lot with seamless transitions into the front seawall/boardwalk and the rear parking area. For help creating the perfect terrain for CDK lots, we strongly recommend reading The Official CDK Tutorial. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

Back by popular demand and fully upgraded, the old CDK modular Pier Pack has returned as the new PEG Pier Set. These lots are pure eye-candy, Boys & Girls. Their job and sole purpose of being is to sit there and do nothing but just look cool !! For those who are not familiar with the old pier pack, the PierSet is a collection of modular pier sections that the player can mix & match to create his/her own piers... of any shape & any size. You can create long, straight piers... or even short ones for that long walk everyone keeps suggesting you take. Or create complex pier systems of any length or shape. You can also use them to create pedestrian bridges (non transit functional) across rivers or bays... and to connect islands. The lots conduct power, of course, so they make a great alternative to stringing unsightly high tension lines. Updates in this new set include a remodeled 2-piece pier base that is tapered to reduce that 'solid wall' look, which is necessary to work around the game's limitations regarding water lots. The single new base foundation replaces separate custom models for each lot... thus reducing the overall file size and resource usage in the game. Also new for the Piers is the Boat Pass section which, used in pairs, creates a passage that your water automata can pass under. Used liberally, it also gives your piers a more open look and breaks up that solid wall effect. Each pier section is affordably priced and only $1 to maintain.... making large pier systems affordable even on a non-money-cheat budget. Each pier section also has a very slight YIMBY park/plaza effect which, collectively will improve desirability in the area without blowing out any caps. There are 7 basic lots in the PerSet Volume 1, which are: 1x Straight Pier Section - Standard straight section of pier with a solid base. 1x2 Boat Pass Section - Actually a 1x1 lot, the BoatPass section has an offset bridge section that extends to cover the adjacent tile. Used in pairs, they create an open passage that the game's water automata can pass under. 1x Corner, Tee, 4-way & End Sections - Standard modular pier sections with solid bases that can be connected together to form piers of almost any size & shape. 1x2 Pier Head - A CDK style lot with properties similar to a small plaza. Use this lot to connect your piers to shore. Similar to the CDK Pier Head lot, but higher to match the height of the PierSet piers. Can be used by itself or with any other CDK style of lots. **This file has no dependencies All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
