  1. Urban Tarsealed Street Modd

Thanks for the shout out Ron - I'm glad they are finally finished, and they look absolutely marvelous. Can't wait to get them in game to replace or earlier prototypes :)
  2. SAM5 Override - Rural Tarseal

Good to hear the project has been finished! They look incredible. Good work Ron :)
  3. April 2010 Update: 1 000 000!

That last shot is the best shot I have seen yet from CXL. It strongly reminds me of Sydney - the inner suburbs are quite hilly, and have great views of the CBD. Good job, and keep it up!
  4. East Meets West (16 Slides)

Ahh, thanks for that - I was just looking through again and noticed the trees were chopped off, so I thought it must have been photoshopped. Keep up the good work!
  5. East Meets West (16 Slides)

Absolutely smashing, one of the best CJ's I have seen in a while. One question - how do you get your city to cut off with nothing more than a shadow, and with no gridlines in the space around the city? (seen in the first mosaic) Cheers.
  6. Copperhagan is Back!

After a long hiatus from SC4, (hint hint, CXL) Copperhagan is back! I haven't got a full update prepared, however I have a teaser of Copperhagan's new tourist attraction - Point Plumb. Cheers, ShultzCity
  7. Ahh yes, remember this is still a relatively small 'township' - in the next 5 or so updates you never know what new cities will pop up. But for now, I did mean the windy roads, because on the main arterials there are only between one and three thousand commuters using it at the moment. Maybe when more cities come along, the traffic will increase and cause accidents on the curvy roads, and it might need an update  Cheers.
  8. Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. Feel free to post ratings as well, 2.79 isn't quite accurate at the moment I don't think... :P
  9. Welcome to update #15! In this major update we will look at all the major aspects of the now fully developed city, Northton. Suburbs, commerce, transportation and an industrial railyard will all be looked at. To start off with, we will take a tour of Northton's suburbs: (sorry for image size) And now the commercial sector: And to some of the transportation features of Northton: And finally the industrial sector and the railyard: (again, sorry for image size) And to top it all off, a nice, simple overview: Enjoy! As always, rate kindly and post your suggestions and praise! Cheers, ShultzCity
  10. On my way to 100K...

Great region shot, I like your suburbs as well, but maybe replace some of the roads with streets to make it look more like a suburb. Keep it up! Cheers, ShultzCity :)
  11. Hijacked Train Spills Toxic Chemicals in Residential Area

Oooo - I like the story, I want to know what happens next!
  12. A Teaser and a Question

Ar, don't worry, I see that you put it on otehrs - good idea ol' chap!
  13. A Teaser and a Question

Thanks guys - all working now - Zelgadis, is that a codeword i see? :P  After thinking I would find none, I have now seen two in a day! (BTW, is it specifically on mine? If it is, then it is a tricky one ;) )
  14. Preparations for the 10th Simlympic Games

Stupendous! Great work, keep it up
  15. A Teaser and a Question

Thanks Sky Guy, testing now ;)
  16. A Teaser and a Question

This isn't an official update, just a teaser and a question about jeronij's walls. So, I'll start with my question... I used jeronij's modern walls for the first time today, for the new industrial railyard (see the teaser below ) that I have been building in Northton - however some times when I use the diagonal pieces, they go 'wonky' (can't find anything else to explain it), but not all the time. There are some pictures below to explain: This is the problem - see how they have a 'bump' in the middle of the lot? This is how it looks on another diagonal a couple of blocks away - they look perfect! So, enough of my questions - here is the teaser for a major industrial freight development in the south east corner of Northton: Cheers, ShultzCity
  17. Lovely! Great scenic shots, very realistic.
  18. Northton City transportation system showcase

Thanks for the comments! I have updated the euro textures mod, but does the new version do anything different? I have also downloaded a new train mod - SMP NSB Train Mod - Hope it looks better! Cheers, ShultzCity :)
  19. Northton City transportation system showcase

Welcome to update #TBA! This update is mainly focused around the new development of Northton and it's transportation system. You will also see Lapoon, a small new development to the north of Northton. Northton's developers have plans to make the southern part of Northton a commercial and industrial hub, however at the moment, demand is not high enough to be able to develop straight away. We start off at a showcase of Lapoon's suburbs: Lapoon is largely a rich suburb, with the average income per person per year of $AU 120000 And finally an overview of Lapoon. And now to Northton - we start off with a few pictures of the transportation system without development: Due to Northton's, cooler climate decidious thrive, and developers take advantage of that. An overview of the transport system without T-RAM and eye-candy. And an overview with T-RAM, but still without eye-candy And now with some developed transportation features: The main rail hub of Northton has started small, but has allowed room for exspansion if need be. One of the round-a-bouts in Northton in winter. A train approaches the rail hub. A rail 'interchange' of sorts, that distributes passengers to other parts of Northton Raised road takes commuters to the rail hub. A T-RAM station in a central suburb of Northton A sporting centre featuring a variety of different sporting areas. A lake in the center of a Northton suburb. And finally an overview of Northton. Enjoy! Please leave your thoughts and constructive criticism Cheers, ShultzCity
  20. Region view dusk/day and Transportation view

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments :)
  21. Thanks for that - just what I was looking for :)
  22. When I use the curves, some tiles I cannot fill using pavement because of the nature of the lot.  This means that there is a green space between bits of the curve and the concrete fillers. Hope this clears it up :) ShultzCity
  23. Incredible work! I love the photoshop effects :) I might just ask my question again - how do you acheive the FAR curves seamless with the pavement? It enhances your work greatly! Cheers, ShultzCity
  24. Update #4 : A New Skyline

Beautiful! Very awe-inspiring - I do have one question though - I love your avenue curves, but how do you get them to be seamless with the paving? It makes them look much more realistic! Keep up the good work.
  25. Leah

    Absolutely stunning!
