I love photoshop. I've pieced together a few doozies myself with the program. Here's one of my favorites: FAA Procedure Sorry, the pic's too large for imbedding.

Wow, this thread sure has taken off. Look what I've started! I think now that my Las Arenas Condo is out I am ready to try remaking a sc2000 building. We'll see what happens. Casper, if you have shots of maxis made tile sets that I didn't already post, please post them. I'm sure we'd all love to see them. I only have pictures from the sc2000 DOS version. I bought and played sc2000 even before the fancy special eddition Windows version came out. (Yeah, I'm a real old timer!)

This looks great. You could make a small town main street setup with these.

I honestly do not miss it one little bit! It constricted you so much as to what you could do. You were limited by the size and shape of the blocks; if you didn't like them, though! The program did have props of 2D images like trees, cars, etc. These were good as they allowed more flexebility of what could be done (my Space Needle on was comprised of mostly props) but still were awkward to use. Gmax is just leeps and bounds beyond the sc3K BAP tool! I guess if you really wanted, someone could design a bunch of Gmax blocks and upload them in a pack. You could import/copy/paste them into a file stacking them up to make buildings, then texture them with windows and doors. But why would you want to limit yourself like that?

SC2000 building BATs: office park by toxicpiano
JaWood replied to toxicpiano's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Now don't rush the building. Take you're time. I always get worried when people start on a building and already have it on the STEX 1 or 2 days later. Art, at least good art, usually takes some time and pacience. I've got a residencial highrise I've been working on for the last month, and I'm still not close to being finished yet. -
