So I decided to start playing simcity 4 deluxe again and got the North american sim city 4 rush hour v1.1638 patch and did the update, but it seems that has screwed something up because when I open simcity now(either by double clicking on the shortcut, clicking autoplay on the d drive or even reinserting the cd) all I get is the opening brige picture, the sound of the disk spinning in my drive, and then nothing. Now my computer isn't exactly the best but before dling this patch the most delay I would get from starting it up would be about 10 seconds, I've tried dling and updating the same patch from other sources(fileplant) but nothing, even checking processes in windows task manager shows no simcity 4 process. Now the couple regions I have at the moment I could case less if they were deleted if reinstalling simcity4 is the only thing I can do, but my disks are a bit scratched so if I do that I might not be able to reinstall it and this is my 2nd copy so maxis isn't getting any more of my money and most importanly even if I do, whats going to happen if I try to patch it again? Once again I say that I have sim city 4 deluxe not just the orignal, so I am quite sure I am downloading the right patch file.
