    Problem solved. im a doffus. i just had to scrol down in the window to Users and go from there. Thanks for ur patience!

    the file selection window that comes up doesnt work for finding my region because the files arnt in the game folder or any folder reachable from the desktop. i have to open the hard drive then click on my "user" house-like icon on the left side of the file browser then go to documents then simcity 4. I tried to take a picture to show u but i cant find grab on my computer. Thanks

    I'm using 10.4.8, but the window that comes up to selct the folder is funky. Its odd colored and the window and buttons at the top arnt drwan right (almost looks like a windows file selector window in 8bit) so i cant use them to go to where the map is. Do want me to try taking a screenshot? Thanks

    I'm having this problem also. the keystrok string brings up a funnycolored file search window that doesnt work properly so i cant navigate to the folder i created like the instructions said.
