Notice: I did not did this, to make it look funny or anything like that. This is something terrible that happened. It's not my intention to hurt or offend people with this. The morning started just like any other day. The people on the street, heard a huge noise... At 8:46 AM, a hijacked American Airlines crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. A huge explosion follows, and smoke rises. Everybody is asking what kind of jet is was... a private jet? Or a helicopter? Around the World Trade Center, the city's streets where covered with paper, flying it out of the building. People can hear the sound of an airplane coming closer and closer... At 9:03 AM, hijacked United Airlines 175, crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. People all around the world now knew this wasn't an accident. America was under attack. People were screaming, crying, didn't knew if there was going to be another attack on another big building. At 9:59 AM, the south tower of the World Trade Center collapses... Falling debris of the south tower creates a huge whole in the Marriot Hotel. (WTC 3) The north tower is the only World Trade Center left. A huge dust cloud appears now that the south tower has collapsed. Then, at 10:28 AM, the north tower of the World Trade Collapses. 2,752 people died. Lower Manhattan is covered in smoke, dust and debris. At 5:21 PM, World Trade Center 7 completely collapse.

Hello everyone, we are again visiting the picturesque seaside, and mountainside, town of Purto Masculo. Here is the map just for your reference, the city is on the far right in white: To start this time we see the beginnings of a beautiful sunrise in the mountains outside the city as a sheepherder tends to his flock. Now as the sun reaches it's full brightness we arrive in the small hamlet called Dedí along the winding road into the mountains. Now we find our selves in the jumbled narrow streets where car traffic is banned for the safety of everyone, drivers and pedestrians alike. This particular neighborhood is called Lehoikumek, or Lion Cubs in the Basque language native to the region. Finally we see St. Peter's Cathedral flanked by two massive columns from ancient Insulonian times that have be made into decorative pieces adorned with christian sculptures. Hope you liked this update, I very much like working with this city and have put a lot of extra work into it with all the lotting. Exploring Lake Felis Lake Felis is the permanent capital of Harar. Interestingly enough, it is situated on the southern shores of none other than Lake Felis. There are very few developments in this nation of predominantly traditional felines leading non-domesticated lives. But, paperwork needs to be done somewhere. And of course Queen Vera is not inclined to sit under a tree waiting for a rainstorm to end. Therefore, the small city was built along the most feline of landforms. The capital remains at Lake Felis but the government follows the court. Queen Vera is in residence about half of the year. The other six months, the itinerant court migrates northward to the mountains and then gradually makes its way to Lake Felis again via Huddleston and the coast. This pattern allows for the queen to avoid the often oppressive heat and humidity associated with a Lake Felis summer. Not many towns can boast of being situated on a cat shaped lake. What a pity! Lake Felis is a small, rustic capital for a highly mobile and non-domiciled population. To us, it looks like a quaint old town. But, to a feline living in the open hills of Harar, coming into Lake Felis is like Vegas on steroids. They are dazzled by the bustling activity and mighty structures. So, as we explore the capital, maybe we, too, will feel the wide eyed wonder of the undomesticated feline. City Hall is where Mayor Wiley Leech gets to work each day. A few of the key issues currently facing the capital: residents who curl up on warm cobblestone streets to take naps and slow traffic, hairballs, and pawprints on shop windows. The quiet street does not look like the scene for municipal mayhem… but shopowner Millie Nelson says she has to clean pawprints off the windows of her catnip accessories shop at least four times per day. The mayor is considering an ordinance to give any feline who leaves more than 10 prints on a window a squirt of water. She thinks that should be enough disincentive to leaving prints everywhere. In the middle of town close to the palace sits the Bureau of Feline Affairs complex. It serves as the administrative center for the BFA’s handing of Harar’s affairs. Of course the power for domestic affairs is centered on the Royal Palace. The Lake Felis Convention & Visitors Bureau is located here, on Nine Lives Lane Of course in a nation of non-domiciled felines, most of the conventions are outdoors, on The Terrace. The cathedral sits in the center of town near the waterfront. It is where Queen Vera received her crown as ruler of Harar. The Hotel Katzen Jagen Hunde has a great view of The Terrace and the waterfront Lake Felis Institute is the official post-secondary educational institution of the nation. It is fully accredited with the BFA and offers a program of studies fully compatible with Schulmania’s universities.

Robert checked his watch. No, it was still time. Plenty of time. Still, there was no need to wait any longer. He ran outside, started his car and headed south for Marienhof. It is a very familiar stretch of road; he has been driving it to work every day for over 30 years now. But this day, when he wasn't working, it took longer than ever. When he was a little boy, his dad sometimes took him to Marienhof to go "planespotting". They could just stand there together for hours in silence, just watching the planes land and take off. It wasn't much of an airport back then, and most of the planes were American military planes, stationed at Marienhof Air Force Base after World War 2. But every now and then a passenger plane, like a shiny Boeing 707, arrived at the airport. It was moments like those that made the "planespotting" worthwhile and trigged Roberts interest for planes. When he got a job at the airport, it was like a dream come true. He entered the green fields of Marienhof Nord. Robert put the memories away. Shortly, a very special lady was arriving at the airport. - Ah, the 5th Wing is in, Robert thought to himself as he passed the air force base. The grey F-15s were lined up at the tarmac with military precision. The old part of Marienhof, the old terminal building, is still in use and serves as an Air Force Base. - Just like when the Americans were here, Robert mumbled. The only difference is that no passengers arrive at this terminal anymore. As Robert closed in on the airport, the green fields were replaced by big warehouses and hordes of trucks. Being the largest and busiest airport in the country, tons of goods are transported in and out every day. Just above the motorway, a locomotive was pushing some tanker trucks into the fuel depot. - It looks as she's already here, Robert said to himself. His heart beat faster. Was he nervous? No, not really nervous, just eager to meet a very special lady. A lady he had been looking forward to meet for years. Finally at the airport, Robert parked his car at the staff parking. He jumped on a Terminal Shuttle Bus and headed for Terminal 2. Once there, he spotted a friend over by the catering trucks. - Has the plane arrived? Robert asked. His friend nodded. This was unbelievable. The plane had landed. She was here! It is in situations like these working at an airport could be a real advantage. Robert knew that he was now able to get as close as it gets. Closer than his father was ever able to take him. Closer than those inside the terminal. Closest. Within touching distance. Robert found a pick-up truck and headed for Terminal 1. His very special lady was now only seconds away. It felt like being a little boy again! After a short, but still way too long drive, Robert parked the pick-up at the north end of Terminal 1, the Lufthansa gates. And there she was, waiting for him. Robert gazed at the gigantic marvel. 73 metres long, and with a wingspan of nearly 80 metres..! Seeing something like this up close gave the term "planespotting" new meaning. She was a very special lady indeed. He couldn't wait to get back home to tell his wife. Share Robert's excitement! - Eivind

Astoria Just leftovers of a once industrial city, these factories are served as crack houses or makeshift homes. So much abuse to the river led to horrible living conditions. Even the sewage plant can not even treat all of this pollution, what a mess. At least a few factories remain, but its not all what it seems. Just more reminders of the once glorious city. The usual night.... quiet but deadly. ============================
