Sylvestersburg, Part 2

Sylvestersburg, Part 2
On the western coast of Harar, in the Southern Marches district, the Bureau of Feline Affairs operated ferry port serves the undeveloped woodlands with trade and security. Harar is well known for its quality catnip and silver vine, considered by many to be the best in the world. Local council leader Sir Sylvester Puddytat, Marquis of the Southern Marches, has established a plantation house near the port.

Sir Sylvester, Marquis of the Southern Marches
A small community has grown around it. By popular acclaim, the town has been named Sylvestersburg. Well, since Sylvester paid for the town’s construction, it seemed like the logical choice. Let’s hope he doesn’t get a big head from the name.
Luckily, he is sticking to growing catnip and not pursuing singing!

The village of Sylvestersburg

I usually arrive by ferry since there are no roads connecting it to anywhere else

The Bureau of Feline Affairs offers the locals many services at the Feline Services Center. Vet care is the primary service. There's also some government offices. But no tax office, since Harar has no taxes of any kind. Take that, money laundering tax havens of the world!!!

Next to St. Sylvester's Church is the Shrine of the Ceiling Cat. There is no shrine for Basement Cat...

There's a general delivery post office here. It serves a wide region, since there are no mailboxes anywhere outside of town for miles and miles...

Sylvester, himself, has a lovely estate and makes a good income off of silver vine and catnip

Anyone ready to visit this remote slice of paradise??
