Never cease to amaze.

It's like a Pocket Plaza A GO-GO..

Appreciate that you take parking into consideration. Few do, unfortunately. For me, the lack of parking actually detracts from the over all image. It would be nice to turn some of the NAM curve fillers into parking spaces as well.

Surprised to see that you've added a fence to the BSC Hedges. It works well as the rail's property line. Never thought of adding to them personally. They can use it though, since they're not the most eye catching lots out-of-the-box.

Have to ask, the residential building sitting near center in the corner of the L shaped pocket plaza park, in the second image, is it actually being used as a residential building? Find it strange to have a R  home in that location, if it is in deed being used to home residents. Now, if it's intended to be a home that was "converted" into some kind of C usage (ie: law/dental office, or Parks Admin offices) would be totally understandable. However, there would be no way to distinguish the house as such without some kind of signage. Would love to see a business sign out front, that would be awesome.

Of course that's just a personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt. I know you like detail, and I like to voice my opinions. Thought I'd share.

Well, fortunately by now there are good vehicles and props and textures around to make modular parking.

What I really don't like is the habit of sticking a 1x1 parking into every 1x2 lot, or setting it up so it becomes inaccessible in a scene... So usually I remove all parking from all lots and set up my own modular parking areas.

Being European, I'm not really used to parking lots just about everywhere ;-)

the residential building

That is actually a school building (so designated by the creator, I did not change that)  :-)

Please pardon my first comment. Did not mean to use the word "disappoint", meant to say "amaze". Not sure where my head was at when I typed that. I've corrected it to represent my true meaning.

Totally agree with the parking lots not being accessible. It's frustrating how many buildings I've had to destroy due to that reason. I also prefer to create the parking lots/centers for my C development if I can't make the lots parking accessible in a sensible fashion.

Glad to hear that the house is being used for commercial purposes. Suppose it could be a K-elementary school next to the Jr/High school in the upper right corner. That makes total sense to me. Still think it would be awesome to add a business sign to the building to indicate that it is some sort of C business.

It wasn't the school itself I was speaking about. Was already familiar with that particular bat. And the school looks really good in that pic.

Was speaking about the brown roofed two floor single family house in the center of the picture. Kind of looks like it's just sitting in the middle of the park, not like it was suppose to actually house family members. It looks like a house that would have been converted into some kind of C usage.

Hope that helps clarify which bat I was speaking of. And also helps to make more sense why I kept saying a sign would look good outside.

You must have been like "what the hell is this kid talking about with the sign deal".. lol

Great work. Tiny nitpick: some of the nbvc marina docks could have been given more space. A few are kind of crammed and it seems like getting your yacht off the dock would be very difficult if not impossible in some situations. The shadows make some of the boats look like they are hovering but that is an optical illusion that can occur in real life if the water is clear enough.

@Kelistmatic: I'm using the HD Brigantine watermod by Shokthrpy. If you experiment a bit with different water levels you get to some interesting colors...

@MilitantRadical: Yeah, that's true... Got carried away wanting to use as many of the new models as possible LOL... Next time I'll watch out for that and give a bit more room... ;-)

Way to go dude! Your waterfront look outstanding; I particularly like the waterfront and railroad station. I could learn at thing or two from your attention detail around the roads.  I believe it is the density's appearance gives the place a European appearance.

A+

To say I'm extremely impressed would be an understatement!!  I'm always amazed by your work and attention to detail.

I do have one comment though - the day shots showing the boats, the shadows for the boats don't look right.  Some of the shadows are not touching the boats or are too far removed.  It makes the boats look like they are floating on air.  Kind of a neat affect, maybe new high tech floating aeroboats.

Well, that is due to the shallow water, and the way SC deals with it...

On the other hand, google some areal pics of similar real life scenes - you will see that the effect of "detached" shadows and boats apparently floating in the air does indeed happen... :-)
