As you can remember we came to Severnomorsk and now are going to Vanavara, we will be first passing Tura. Tura is a city located in Taiga oil region, became the capital of the district 23 years ago.
Tura is a rich city thanks to the oil fields around the city. The city grew quickly in 5 years with population coming to the oil rich region to work.
The city is split by river... Tura. Original name of course. The city is the oldest settlement in the region and is right now quickly growing, with plans of a major airport to be constructed near the city.
The city thanks the Taiga oil fields, that are located in the region. Big money, big business and life turned to the city. From a village in 1900 that sold Furs, to a big city that sells oil.
Tura eastern side is the city old settlement, with many older mercent homes and business. Here you can find the old fayth cathedral build in 1907, by a rich mercent that made millions in fur trade with European Hiigara to europe and with Okatabawashi Tea.
Derskov District, was a slummy district full of thiefs and of prostitutes. Derskov was a mayor in 1925, that ordered reconstruction of the district and made it in to entertament district. Thanks to Derskov he also made Tura a city of Taiga Cinema. Right here you can go clubbing and relaxs at the best bars in the city.
The Angel Statue is a symbol of golden age of Tura and thanks to the gods for the changed possibilities. From a failed city in 1980, to a modern capital of Taiga region.
Upper old city has the main electrical company that produces heat and energy to the city. Temple of Voznesenie can be seen on the other side.
Temple of Voznesenie, is one of the oldest temples. Build in 1731 for the villagers of Tura and for the moving settlers to the region from european Hiigara. Its the main monument of the city.
District of Pizensk. Build in 1987, it was the starting of the oil production near Tura. New apartment blocks started popping around the city. Right now plans to build more are made. You can also see Taiga-City.
Taiga-City. Main business center in the city, making trade deals with Okatabawashi, Cattala and other nations to deliever oil, forest and furs to there countries.
We are going away from the city center, you can always see something interesting in Hiigaran Siberia.
Welcome to my home, we will be leaving Tura soon, for a smaller city between the two, in the main oil district... its dirty and horrible, Stalsk is it name. But now you can stay at my family home. Welcome to Tura again.
