Retreat is just a small community without much industry or commerce... but still a much favored destination for those who can afford ;o)

Our first stop is the attractive resort centered around an old victorian bath house...

From the Resort we move north - through wild country and a logging concession...

Into the town of Havnoc - not too wealthy, just about to move up from its shanty town status...

West of Retreat Resort, taking a short busride or a nice hike past the hot springs, visitors can do all the shopping they wish for...

retreat3-mos01.jpg

The shops and malls are clustered around the famous open air festival grounds, the music hall and the after show party club... shows start around 9 PM...

Beyond that, there is mostly agriculture...

The apartments mainly house migrant workers, tourists and festival visitors...

That update just went on... and on... and on! Amazing. I love the tranquility of the sailboats, the modernism of the curved footbridge, and the rockstar quality of the outdoor stage. Wow, you really know how to cover eveything in one go! Consider me thoroughly spoiled!!

When I first received this game 3 years ago, I never imagined ever creating something like this, I kept trying as hard as I could to get the resort hotel.
It's amazing how far the simtropolis community has taken the game since then! And seeing what some have been able to do with such an ordinary game has been stunning as well!

It's long since become very difficult to give you compliments for this stunning cj. There are not many people whose work I look forward to seeing, but you are without a doubt one of them. 5/5!

This is absolutely beautiful and everything all blends together very naturally. Where did you get the small utility poles? These add an extra dimmension of realism to your incredibly detailed city. Well done!

Is unnecessary to say the obvious ... your work is amazing ... impressive realism in detail by the time that must have taken to do. I would ask if possible to say where he could get the wood forklits .. would be a good addition to a new scene I'm doing. thanks!
