I'd be proud of that too bro. How many man hours would you estimate you have in sculpting that masterpiece?

@AIX: It's the Mackay map from Team Downunder, the one Adrian was using before his death. Can't remember the exact name of it :\. If you search Mackay, Austrailia up on the STEX, it should come up.

@Zodicus: Haha thanks man :). I'd say about 92 man hours :P

For me it's all about the little details.

Here's a rest stop area with a lookout as well as picnic shelters which can be rented by local residents for various events.

Heres a little something im working on to improve my terraforming skills and  traffic network routing  both above and below ground. This is a still practice city so i can see how it fills out and populates, so you will see a few unfinished elements. I want to have lots of shrubbery and flora and also some neat traffic networks ( i.e. monorail tube  that laces through buildings and mountains) to make it look even more futuristic.LevelOne-Jul34961367412454_zps25e38a0d.pLevelOne-Jul34961367412333_zpsc073b772.pLevelOne-Jul34961367412216_zps7d13ef37.pLevelOne-Oct91151367358455_zps44aaa9d0.pLevelOne-Jul34961367413688_zps40b70f32.pLevelOne-Jul34961367412866_zpsa83c2d5a.pLevelOne-Mar301131367305205_zpsa1a91b87.

Well, I came to the lotting party a little late, but this is my first effort: The WTA's Engine Maintenance Yard. I haven't yet found a good building/warehouse that I can use as a railshed, but I'm still looking. The ground textures are a repetitive, but I wanted to get this integrated into my network. If I find the right textures for the ground, I'll change it up.

Wow that's really  futuristic! :ohyes:  Might even join the ranks of great futuristic CJ's such as the diesmaran empire. Anyway the mountains remind me of it...

Anyways I have a list of all the futuristic mod's ever.

I re-lotted the Area 52 to make it look more like a futuristic secret military research facility. Now there are tanks, military equipment, and underground driveways.

Nice, I love Dallas! Now you just need to get those big Texas freeways installed and you're good to go! And put a park on top of Woodall Rodgers. ;) I love how you got the DART in there too! haha

That's a pretty good-looking scene. There's a good mix of short and tall buildings, and not so much of a skyscraper jungle. Looks a lot more realistic this way. After all, in realistic cities, there's a lot of shorter buildings mixed in with taller ones; not every lot contains a skyscraper.

David,

if you mean this one below (quite evident), it's the ploppable (I think) "Nexis_Office", here's the link to get it (no dependencies):

http://www32.zippyshare.com/v/uTad3E8p/file.html

Click on the orange *Download Now* icon and don't worry if it says "Application", it is a DAT file. ;)

Have Fun with Nexis.... ;)

Glad to see how Interchange Island developed from the initial project posted in the "Show us what you are working on" thread. I was interested in how the end result might appear. Nice work, @Haljackey:) The parks in the middle of the two populous areas improve the ambiance of the scene.

Out of curiosity, why did you decide not to add any beaches in front of some of the residences? Is the island intended to be a rocky island with steep banks? (The island looks that way to me; this would explain why there aren't any beaches.)
