There is a better chance that if you post pictures that someone will BAT your building.

If MCG stands for melbourne cricket ground, I think JEC was working on it. Have a look at his thread called Stadia Caelesta .

There needs to be a bigger variety of small, cheap 1950s/1960s-style apartments in the game.  Luckily, the neighborhood in western L.A. where I live (Palms) has an abundance of them.  They'd all be R$4 lots, with sizes including 1x2, 1x3, 2x2, 2x3, 3x2, and 4x2.  A package of medium- and high-wealth tract houses and medium-wealth apartment buildings/complexes of the type common in southern Orange County (they're all cream-colored stucco with Spanish tile roofs 21.gif) would be a great addition as well.

EDIT: Once the weather clears up I could easily provide a lot of pictures.

I'm looking for statues and sculptures.  We seem to have a severe shortage of art work to place in our cities.  I've only been able to find a few.  In the real world, there are scultures at schools, malls, museums, libraries, wealthy commercial districts, parks, etc.  Why not in Sim?  Scultures and statues should come with a park effect and maintenance cost appropriate to its size.

I stupidly posted as a new thread in General Discussion before seeing this, which was right in front of my eyes.  This request will, therefore, be posted in two places. My apologies for that.43.gif

I think what the game needs is some more ghost town buildings. I have numerous backroads just asking for some abandoned structures. For example, stores, some houses, and maybe old public structures such as a school.

Also, I'd like to see some old brick and wood stores for small-town commercial districts, most old towns have an area like this along their main street:

I'd much appreciate any progression of these ideas.

This is more of a request for something already on the STEX.

Now, I might be crazy, but I thought I saw a finished Shanghai Financial Center on the STEX a little while back. I didn't download it though, because I was having trouble getting my night lights to work (they work now) and wanted to be able to see the cool ferris wheel thing inside the top.

So...could anybody help me find it? Or am I out of my mind?

I recently requested the Guggenheim Bilbao which would be ridiculously hard in my mind.  But I also agree with the idea of the Pentagon, it could be expensive but cover an entire city with police protection.

Judging by what I saw in those pictures, Aon looks pretty easy. You could definitely attempt to create that, I think the hardest part will be to find the right textures and font for the Aon logo at the top. Why don't you give it a try?

I would love it if someone could make a Virgin Megastore, one for a dense urban area. Some examples:
