Sun Valley just gets better and better! The baseball stadium and complex looks great, it's my favorite part of the past few updates. The ski resort looks excellent as well. Very realistic.

Sun Valley Times

No expansion for International

Sun Valley international airport has been completly surrounded by housing developments and industry. The large airport is fine for now but as Sun Valley expands a new airport might be needed. We will be sure to reserve a place for the future that isn't extreamly far away from the downtown area, says the transportation advisor.

 

New hotels and buisnesses near the airport

 

Three brand new hotels have been constucted in the past few months near the airport to keep up with the demand. Super 8 owner says that he's very pleased with how his new facility has been doing. Many new shops have also sprouted up in the area. The avenue that runs past the airport is extreamly busy so they can do good buisness.

I like the hotels they look great around the airport especially the Marriot, I don't know why but the Super 8 just looks out of place.

Impressive !

All is in good place in your airport.
Hotels, lots of parking space. The radio station, now that is a good idea!
And the tunnels, but the nicest touch IMHO is the tunnel that comes INTO the airport perimeter! Very well tought!

Edit : As for the Super 8 motels, I think that they belong there! You also have people flying economic class, they also need a place to stay.

I like the airport, but you might as well remove the shortest runway - it's really too short in my opinion. The rest of the airport is just perfect, otherwise.

I have to disagree with everyone about the Super 8 Motel.  At nearly every airport I've ever been to, there are a variety of hotels/motels in the area.  Remember, not everyone on an airplane can afford to stay at a Marriot or Embassy Suites.  The area around an airport needs to cater to as many different people as it can, and I think the Super 8 adds a sense of realisim to the area.

I say keep it as is!

simmax: Thanks for the comment. Thanks for your suggestion too! The short runway is for smaller planes like cessnas and small cargo carriers.

 

corryzahn: I think you might be right. At our international airport (Spokane, WA) we have motel 6 type things but then we also have a large, much more wealthy hotel further down the road.
