There were a buncha great games today (uh, yesterday for me, I guess...)! Some big comebacks (way to go, Bills), some late game wins (nice one, Giants), and then... Some not so good games. I guess today was "DO NOT COVER RONNIE BROWN Day" for the NE defense, eh? Four tds for that guy? AND a passing td? Who's got him on their fantasy team? Awesomeness (if you're a Dolphins fan). And, how bad does Detroit suck? Barry had the right idea getting out when he did. The management of that team is phenomenally bad. I honestly believe that I could do a better job than Matt Millen. You've got to imagine that when a guy gets drafted by the Detroit Train Wreck that his entire career passes before his very eyes...

And, oh yeah, EAT IT, CAROLINA! UUH! GO VIKINGS! WOO!

Cowboys looked very good last night, even if Obi Wan Romo didnt have a huge game, the running game just rolled.

Redskins looked decent against the Cardinals, should be a good game  next sunday.......

that is cool as hell.

as for the ronnie brown thing, it was basically, the patriots forgetting there assignments and playing kill the carrier. And because the dolphins used the formation differently on every play, there was no way to adjust to it because it was always changing. Really, it was simple to defend, but the patriots discipline broke down [i cant beleive im saying that....maybe bill should retire now]

Bad news in Cowboy land.

26-24 and it didnt seem that close.

I hate when a good defence gets dinked and dunked for 60 minutes.

They ran  a good game plan on us kept Romo off the field

Thier time of possetion was almost 2xs the cowboys.

Ah well makes the NFC east more interesting.

What really bothered me about the Redskins Cowboys game was how ineffective our offense was. Romo put up pretty numbers again, but when Terrel Owens accounts for a 1/4th of your running games total yardage, something is wrong. Marion Barber looked nothing like the running back we normally see, which set up a ridiculous amount of 2nd or 3rd and longs. He had one good run all night...

Truth is there was no one aspect of the game that we controled. We couldnt stop the redskins from passing, or from running, and we couldnt consistently pass over them or run at them, at all.

At least we get to pad those stats in next weeks game...i predict 45-10 cowboys manslaughter.

Man raiders were leading and we came back to win

This really was quite unusual.   We would have to go back decades to find a Skins head coach who beat the Cowboys in his rookie year.   While I could have done without the sight of Dan Snyder kissing Jim Zorn in the locker room, I can certainly understand why he would want to. 

Maybe Coach Z isn't in over his head after all.  Since Jason Campbell finally woke up a few games ago, things have been going quite well.

Nice to see the 'Skins win over the 'Boys. But it's the Vikings that have me worried. I suppose I'll start the Childress Watch this week. If he can't make the playoffs this year with this team, I have a feeling he'll be sent packing. There's too much talent on this team to be staring at a losing record for the next two weeks (at least). You can't blame it all on Tavaris Jackson, either. With weapons across the field (run stoppers on defense, AD in the backfield, and a legitimate [although not a superstar] wide receiver in Berrian) we shouldn't be suffering the agony of two-touchdown losses.

I agree that Millen needs to go.  He's a linebacker, not a front office guy.  The problem is, he just signed a 7 year extension.  I don't know much about the new coach.  Hopefully he can bet more out of all their 1st round draft picks, that have flopped so far. quote>

this summer i got cheap seats in the lower bowl for Pats v Bills. The reason being noone wanted to see a game with an obvious outcome.

Well guess what? Now its the most important game of the year

But big game versus the chargers this week. Schedule is "Cupcake, Big game, Cupcake, Big game" [san fran, san diego, st louis, denver]
