Greekman-alright, yes, i forgot about that, that was the ---- on sunday. 9-8, but remember, The Patriots don't punt. So punter becomes a nonentity. In that case, it is still 9-7.  trying to make norv turner look like a better coach then one of the 3 greatest coaches of all time is ridiculous, don't even try   And a majority of the chargers points in that were from the even posistions. if I were counting advantages, it would be 7-4 pats. Im just saying, to try and make the chargers players look better than the pats is absurd. if they were, wouldn't the chargers we 16-0, the pats having lost to them being 15-1? The reason the chargers beat the colts was not talent. Billy Volek vs. Peyton Manning? good luck with the arguement. They won cause of intensity, momentum, sense of the moment, all that bullcrap you hear on NFL films. Saturday, they have to bring even more of that if they want to win.

not that there are many similarities between jesus and belicheck, or me and norv. for one thing, I don't look like a movie stunt man. Can't you just see Norv flying out of a building on a motorcycle?

im not writing off the chargers, unlike some pats fans, i know a) it will be within 2 tds, and b) the chargers have a chance. I don't like when people get too confident about a certain opponent. After the chargers game, everyone in town was saying "Yes! colts lost, super bowl is a peice of cake now". No its not. If the colts lost, there must be someone capable of beating them. if someones capable of beating them, they are capable of beating us. 

I learned last year that no game is a lock. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice,shame on me. <Somthin like that, who said that, jesus or somthin?

seriously, he said two incredibly dumb things in the same press conference recently. "Rodney Harrison doesn't deserve a super bowl cause he already has one" and "Junior Seau would be just as happy if the chargers won as he would be if the patriots did". of course, now im going to get flamed at for trashing LT.

hes a good person for both the NFL and the community, i just think he says too many stupid things.

Haha...no, no flaming here. I didn't listen to the press conference, but if he did say the first statement, then yes, that is a stupid comment. As for Seau, I don't blame him for leaving SD. Back then our gameplay was complete rubbish and it didn't seem like we were ever going to improve. Perhaps he's regretting it now a bit, but only because he'd have better weather had he stayed!

But pats, thanks for not completely discounting a chance of a Bolts win...there just seems to be waaay too many people out there (not in SD though) who are scoffing at a Bolts victory. Pfff....we'll see about that!

But it's still a win/win situation for us...even if we lose this weekend, at least we get to go to the beach with over 70 degree weather after the game...whereas you guys get to freeze your butts off...

patriots_1228: remember Norv was the cowboys offensive Coordinator back  in our Dynasty time in the early 90s. So he can come up with a winning game plan with talented players like Sd has.

BTW: only 6 months to traing camp. all the ones still playing will be tired.

1. Throught NFL history we would be known as the team that stoped the greatest football team in history

2.Retribution. We have the perfect chance to knock out the Pats at the Razor and stun everyone!

I feel that this game will be a fiece battle and some how we come out with a win!

NE was a loss

and GB was a lose if we get to the bowl.

1) correction. The greatest team in history is the 72 dolphins. If the pats win the super bowl, they will be the greatest team in history. however, if the chargers beat them, then, the pats would just be another good team that fell short. Its impossible to beat the greatest team in history, because that team (if the pats win the super bowl) will have never lost. Instead, the chargers will be known as the team that beat the 17-0 patriots if they win. If the patriots win, they will be known as "The first team to start a season 18-0".

Oh boy, it's not lookin' good. Rivers, LT, Gates, etc. are all missing practice because of their injuries. LT says he should be good by Sunday, but Rivers is looking more iffy. I don't know guys, but these injuries couldn't have come at a worse time. If they manage to get healthy enough to play, so what? They might not be prepared if they didn't get enough practice. And I read in the paper today that Norv's concerned. Not lookin' good.

Super Bowl XLII will be a rematch of Super Bowl XXXI - Packers-Patriots, and this chapionship week is a rematch of week 2...weird...

Green Bay vs. Giants

There was a time when I hated the Packers. I'm from Minnesota, and Green Bay is our mortal enemy. Since then, I've matured and become a fan of all of football. Brett Favre is currently the best ever (until Brady's been in the league 17 years and has better stats) and there is no way to possibly dislike the guy. He was having so much fun in the win last sat...enabling him to have the youth to play another 15 years would be awesome for the league. But that's not going to happen, and GB will make it to another Super Bowl inder Favre. They finally got a running game, and it allows Favre enough time to throw, which is very dangerous from a guy that can throw just as hard off-balance than when he has both feet planted. The Giants are hot, and Eli has been playing great lately. He's so emotionally jacked for the NFC Championship game he's...well, he's blankly staring into the distance like he always does. But now he's doing it passionately! They have a superior front four that pressured Romo all day, but don't look for them to get to Favre.

Packers won in week 2 35-13. My prediction is Packers win 27-21

San Diego vs. New England

Yes, the Chargers beat the Colts...with their second stringers. Sorry, SD fans, but so far the Pats have played against starters 17 times and won. As was proven earlier, the Pats are better than the Colts. Both the Chargers and the Pats beat them in the regular season, and I believe this is the matchup of the two best teams in the AFC. By the end of his career (if like Favre, he's never injured) Brady will be the best QB ever. The Patriots are simply too strong to be beaten...literally. Mike Woicik is the strength and conditioning coach, and was responsible for the success of the Cowboys in the early 90s...and is the only person ever to earn 6 Super Bowl rings (Bill Belichick has 5). Even with LT, Rivers, and Gates, I don't think the Chargers would win. Like the pattern says, Chargers have a good shot next year. They still need a good reciever besides Chambers. They seem to have *almost* all of the pieces in place...just one or two more.

Patriots won in week 2 38-14. My prediction is Patriots win 31-17.

Not goingt into to much detail as these games have alread been disussed to death.

SD vs NE

 NE will dominate them it wont even be close.

After watching the jags play an awesome game last week ,NE played Perfect.

And will again.

NE 38-24

GB vs NYG

Have to go with the home team here.

GB just has  more. NYG are tired. Both are playing well but Farve at home is almost unstopable

in the playoffs.

GB 35 -21

SB: GB vs NE

Volek may be a good backup, but throw him in front of the complex system of NE and he won't be very successful. Its tough to qb against new england, because, for 3 quarters, we let you bend us, we let you score, then all of the sudden we clamp down and you get too*****y and throw picks. its what happened to boller and feeley, cuz all of the sudden the pats started playing tough D.
