Hey...what is this place? Must be new...haven't been in this neighborhood for a while.

I'll take a Mocha Latte with a shot of llama milk.

Anyone else getting pounded by this blizzard hitting the Northeast US? Work closed early today, and I decided that this would be the best place to put off studying for my exams next week.

@Joesocwork: Hi, Joe. You look rested and ready for the fray. Enjoy your coffee. Not my stuff without sweetener.

@ MI6Ash: Sorry, pal. I think you've had enough of those. Here's a nice plate of nibbles and a capuccino. Take a break.

@ J.O.: Mana elixir is beyond the capabilities of the autobar. Just a second. Takes of host hat, puts on Creator hat. Mmmmfrglzzt krotz! *pop* Here you are, two litres of ME. Returns to host mode. You gods have to be careful. Just look what happened to poor Wotan when he got his spear into the liquid helium.

@ ginchael: Welcome! Autobar goes *ping* Here's your order. No, the majority of the snow missed us up here. We are too far away from the lower great lakes to be affected. We normally get the works from Huron, but there haven't been any real snowfalls up here this year so far crosses eyes for luck.

@tHe Dark_Child: Pull up a chair and get warm. What'll you have?

Slowsly seeps the ME, fuzzy glowing steam coming out of it. The balooon starts glowing and then dims back

Thank you, we need some energy regeneration once in a while you know2.gif

well guys, c ya. I guess I'll leave for the hotel now before the snow gets too bad. goodbye everyone.

Ash claps and the board freezes into an ice cube with an anti cheating barrier around it. Ash then waves to everyone, shakes hands with josocwork, J_O_, and N_O_Body, then grabs his coat and hat (and bags) and leaves the bar into the snow.

    Ice latte John!!

Another long day in the bureaucracy <whew!!!> &aaand a long rush hour to boot.

Pretty cold over here still. Our area got off lightly for the snow. At Starbucks I was asked if I wanted the iced latte in this weather. I told the barister that I've never ordered a piping hot Pepsi! 16.gif

Shakes hands with Ash. Good luck/ God speed. I'm doing your friendship test to show my support. I bet I do better on it than on family members back in Indiana!18.gif

Late note: Sorry, I was having trouble accessing the site

@The Terminator: The inspection panel opens on the autobar, which flashes red. *ping Chicken and Fries with a dealcoholized beer. Here you are. Enjoy.
I don't know who that girl is, she is not on my payroll. We don't hire children, we only serve them. Youth must be served. [Nicely browned and with an apple in its mouth.] Keep control of those raging hormones [positrons], young robot or we'll have one of the gods around here ground out out.
@ J.O. Hipoclorite? Is that something new? When I was taking chemistry from the ol' professors, I think it was Sodium Hypochlorite. Active ingredient in chlorine bleach, yes? Not much of an oxidizer, here try some of my Potassium Permanganate solution with the Phosphoric Acid chaser. Should be a pretty good ruster.
@ The Terminator: After the permanganate bath, you should have fewer raging whatevers.
@ The_Dalai_Llama: Thanks, but you see the autobar has already looked after this problem.
@ nosoupforyou: But he needs a higher alcohol than ethyl. How about some butanol, TT?
@Rymac91: Autobar outputs a mug of PC eggnog with a little ground nutmeg on the top. Here's your nog. What's happening in your area?
@TT: ROFLMAO, You really didn't think we would let you get sozzled at the Moose Factory, did you? Please put the juke box on Wi Fi and take a head set. Some of us just aren't into that dreck.
@J.O.: You seem to have a circuit problem. What is theleapthically? Perhaps you meant telepathically.
@Big_Baazzo The autobar goes into high production. Thanks BB. Our pets all love us, and we love them. I still haven't gotten over my Gordon Setter who had a brain atrophy problem. It's been two years now. I know Geordie is waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge (Bifrost), along with Casey and Paddy. Too many kittens to detail. *sniff*
@vidioman: PIck up a headset, then and join the Wi Fi group.
How's the weather at the Lakehead? Things seem to have settled down here. -6

When I try to get to the official site, it tells me that I do not have permission to read posts. Was I banned for something or was Maxis hacked again?

We didn't lose too much snow yesterday, even though it topped 40

No snow around these (British) parts. It is made up for by being completely freezing.

@ J.O.: *ping* The autobar outputs a large Glen Fiddich. Here you go. When it comes to grammar nazi-ism, I am a charter member. Retired teachers are at last exempt from saying politely that the spelling mistake at the top of the first page of your resume will get your document filed under W for wastebasket

@Ratieya455: Matt, I have no idea what happened over there. I was there this morning and there was no notice. *ping* (autochef) Here you are. Chicken with broad noodles in a rich stock. Family Guy? You mean we have to have JoeSocWork on TV. Good grief, there are limits. But, seriously, I don't watch much TV. Newton Minnow was right.

the baby was rude? All babies are rude. One definition of a baby is a rude noise at one end and a rude result at the other.

@ Carpman: Welcome, fellow black shirt! The autobar says *ping*. Glen Fiddich OK? It only dispenses large. No coursework? At this time of the semester, you are just starting a new one or getting ready for exams. Which school are you at?

Listen I can go on My powercell for 120 years, But i need Ethyl alchohol to keep me running. I left my powercell at a bus stop in the Bronx and i havent been able to go to radioshack to buy a new one, So i need to use my back up Ethyl Battery.

STOP TRYING TO RUST ME! I am made out of non-rustable metal(i just got the upgrade!) I get an upgarde every 2 months so i can stay High-tech. My nueral-Net CPU self-updates so i dont have to do it myself.

Ethyl-alchohol also keeps my harddrive spyware-free, and it also makes me a more efficent robot by 90%, so can i please have a beer and some Fried Chicken.

*takes off his WI-FI headphones and puts om some Jethro Tull.

and can i have a shot of motor oil to keep my internal tech-stuff well lubricated.

@ vidioman: Thanks. I think he blew a gasket. You could try him on half-power. Here's a quart of pure ethanol. Whatever you do don't drink it, just fix up his Ethyl Battery. For human beings, this is strong enough to kill you.

@The Terminator: [When he wakes up] Here's your motor oil. When you are ready, order your food again, and the autochef will look after you. Speak directly into the autobar and re-order your beer when you are ready. It will examine you for majority, and dealcoholize the beer if necessary.

@J.O.: Here's your ice water. Wait for it ... *ping* The autochef starts playing Shrimp Boats are a-coming Here's your shrimp stew. These are oxymoron shrimp (jumbo shrimp).

Turns out I have the flu. Oh well, I can still get around the house and make it to school.

John, do you have anything that can get a person to sleep? It's 4 AM and I can't sleep!

John, thank you for the suggestion on the John Thompson piano books. I am making some pretty good progress, I think.

I read about this Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV Piano, then checked it out on their website. It costs $35,000US, and is loaded with electronic features. Basically, Yamaha took their top grand piano and added things such an 80GB hard drive to store song files, which it can play accoustically, controlled by two different Wifi control modules. Apparently it can also play along with most CDs. Is this cool, or overkill?
