@Big_Baazzoo: Yes, I have been a one-eyed jack for nearly 20 years now. A surgical accident during a cataract operation. I have a nice scleral cap done by a very artistic prosthetic technician. Unless I tell you, or you sneak up on me, you can't tell. Want another Guiness?

@TT: OK, here you go. You have now become an auxiliary waiter. You should let these guys get their own food. As an aside, Motor Oil is a euphemism in my family for Maple Syrup.
Yours is 5W40 SAE grade. Mine is first boil.

    ummm...
@John  a terminator would make a pretty good bouncer if the (unlikely) need arose...Round peg in a round hole so to speak.
and in between events where some surly character requires an escort out to the alley, I bet he could sweep the floor once in a while.

I'm not being mean Mr. Terminator, it's just that a robot would not be bored, right?  would a robot think cleaning a toilet was demeaning?

no disrespect intended Term, just asking, um dogs don't know alot about robots.1.gif

    Hiya John & Gang,

I'm back, although since I was doing something here everyday I guess I really didn't leave.  It was part-time job related.  I had been studying for a couple of parts and participated as one of many area actors for a major law firm that was holding a series of mock trials for its young attorneys to compete in.  It was stressful but lots of fun and paid pretty well for this kind of thing.  It reminded me why the attorneys in child welfare are they way they are. 3.gif

My wife is making gumbo right now.  How's yours??25.gif  Just make sure TT washes his hands before he serves.18.gif   I hope Dalai is feeling better.  James, I hope Jerry Springer lets you get some sleep from time to time.20.gif  J_O, why can't a person like yourself play a solitaire form of Risk?31.gif

Who likes to shoot?  I went to the pistol range today.  It was a good day. I am learning to shoot with my left hand.  I think I was meant to be left handed, but the nuns made me be right handed.

Hullo again, I'd like a big platter of curly fries and a raspberry lemonade.

We are finally getting some rain around here, and guess what, people are actually cheering. Some precipitation should be good for the passes, which have been closed for sking during most of the season.

Hopefully I can finish my essay for a contest tonight.

@TT: Those are pretty fancy letters of reference you got. You are hired. Now why don't you go and see if you can reprogram the autobar and autochef into a single machine? Robots have to be able to handle these simple automata.

P.S. You nearly made it to the round file. The second word of your application title is misspelled.

@Big_Baazzoo: James, I am glad to know you support TT. I hired him on your say so. Keep your pistol handy. Sometimes automatic bods need a shot in the a....

@Joesocwork: Welcome back. The gumbo here is not bad. Here, try some. Want a latte with this or comething colder? I have some nice Piesporter Michaelsberg.

@Fairlane500: TT, is the auto server ready now? Please fill this order for Fairlane500. Here is a bowl of seasalt for yor fries.

There is a drawback, Ratieya, about storing a vehicle.  I store my bike from time to time and it always needs work to get her back to normal, often carburatur, and rust appears on the most unlikely spots where it wouldn't when the bike was active.  But it's too cold to ride it, so I store it.

TT: Your self-programming is excellent. Have an extra litre of motor oil on the house.

Matt: I am sorry to hear your Toronado has been exposed to the elements. The only thing I can suggest is that you need to make or get it a portable shelter. Stopping the wind flow over it will definitely help. If I remember the winds at Portage and Main in the 'Peg, it will have to be guyed down.

James, you know the rust is from condensation. Water gets in as vapour and deposits on any bare metal. Even a pin-hole in the paint will let the gas in. If you are mothballing your bike over the winter and you can't keep it in a warm garage, you should consider mothballing it by coating it with cosmoline or similar heavy grease. I know this will make it a $%&^! to clean up in the spring, but its either that or rust.

TT has served your eggs benedict, etc. I hope the service was OK.

Vid: As Daffy would say, You're disgusting!

TT: Did you get the discriminator circuit in the new all-in-one set to exclude serving booze to minors? We have to be up-and-up here.

And here I was worrying about motor oil in my coffee.  21.gif  You may have competition John;  My 4 y.o. daughter was offering me a pretend latte to me this morning. It went well with my wife's pretend chili. <looking around my shoulders>18.gif  I don't want to imagine what my daughter will be serving when she learns how to read!Insert The kiddoes computer will continue to stay in the living room for a long time! 19.gif

When exactly did cars start becoming rust-proofed anyway?

Joe. Keeping the kids machine in the living room seems to be to be a darned good idea. When they start objecting, you should know how to handle it, seeing your training, and all.

I hope the chili was nutritious. The stuff at the factory has no calories or other food values whatever.

Rust proofing techology existed when the Toronado was made, but it sure wasn't up to the Diamond Kote I got when I bought my Honda in 1999. It is guaranteed to 2008 at least.

Joe, are you sure you are not pregnant? Pinapple and soy sauce? OK. I think TT can program the new autochef for that.
As for my sig, the problem was size. I didn't realize it was so large that it would mess up the board. I guess it is a matter of bandwidth, even though I comes off my site.

Matt: I hope the old girl survives until you get the garage built.

I guess that Dude is the latest term for a cool (sick?) guy, but you know it is a pejorative term. In the old west as dude was just above a tenderfoot. Ever heard of a dude ranch? Its where tenderfeet go to learn to ride some sorry ol' nags.

Blargh, I forgot to take the pictures today. I also didn't get anything done on the garage, and have not crawled back under my brother's car to put the repaired oil pan back in yet. The reason I didn't get done today is because I some how fell asleep mid-race in Gran Turismo 4 this morning and didn't wake up for five hours.

NOTE: i have Upgraded the SONY autobar/chef with Ultra-voice recognition software(Copyright 1987 Cyberdyne systems)

so all you have to do is tell the Autobar your order in conveintly placed speakers on all tables, and at the bar.

After you place your order one of my Miniterminators will serve your food/drinks.

I have programed the Mini-terminators to be friendly and helpful. Remember the mini-terminators have the same Neural-Net CPU's as I do so you can speak to it as if they are human(like you do with me).

I have build 3 miniterminators they are:

CSM-102: his specialty id bartending, he can also make any cocktail you want him to.

CSM-103: His specialty is food and wine, direct all your culinary concerns to him

CSM-104: and i had to make a lady-bot, So SkiGeek Samantha and the other Women can have someont to gossip to.

And remember they have Polysynthetic Exoskin like me so they look more human(you really cant tell a Terminator and a Human apart until you cut them open and see their wiring and Metal-joints) so just think of them as people, but with Robot efficency.

And I am more complex than them. I based their design on My original from 1990. So i have superiority over them since i am their creator.

And i have given all three of them an aparntment in Downtown Toronto(also the Moose Factory central office, where the Main Server that controls the Miniterminators and the Autobar is located).

The Miniterm's can take care of all Service, While N_O_body and Myself run things.

Actually the soy sauce & pineapple thing was an inside joke referring to SkiGeek's Test Your Senses thread. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=60698 And for no real good reason I actually tried it this morning to report back to the Community.  Whatever.

This evening I'm glad your food is no-cal b/c I think I gorged too much on lemon-peppered hot wings back at home.21.gif

So how did the surf culture pick up on the word 'dude'?
