I haven't posted anything in awhile - I've joined the BSC team, so what I am BATting has to be tested and approved before posting.

Hey Nutball! Bobbo has bats both here at simtropoolis aswell as at sc4D. Both of these sites have search functions which should make it fairly easy to find the buildings you desire. Here is what i was able to find found:

    Bats at simtropolis

    Bats at SC4D

Nutball, please read the forum rules - you just broke two. That's not the best start, if I may say so. 2.gif

One point is that bumping up old threads (unless you have something substantial to contribute) is considered a bad habit because it makes people think there's something new when there really isn't, plus it pushes more active threads further down. We have a thread called "Can't find it? - Ask here!" precisely for questions such as yours. Instead of using that thread, you just bumped up a thread that had been inactive for nearly two years!

The second point is that double-posting is generally frowned upon in forums because it leaves the impression of being pushy, impatient, and hence impolite. You can add more to your existing post by clicking the EDIT button.

You appear to be new here, so no need to panic, but I kindly ask you to re-read the rules and consider the above points in future. It will make the forum experience more pleasant for everyone involved. Thank you.

I no longer BAT, so therefore I no longer take request. I have taken my stuff down b/c I no longer have the game running on my system - so therefore I do not have dependence listings for the items I use. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to comment on my BATs - and I hope they looked good in your game. I will be posting my work on FaceBook, if you want any of my old stuff - find me under Robert Walker on FaceBook, and request. Thank you.

    THREAD CLOSED.

It's been a long time since I've posted here, and that I uploaded anything, or made anything.  But, today - I've started to get back into Gmax, and start creating again.  Of course it's been since 2009 that I've done anything - it's like learning how to walk again after being disabled for such a long time - I'm taking baby steps again and some things are coming back to me.

Though  I seem to have an issue - Making transparent windows.  I'm following the old tutorial (Phillippo's) that I studied from back in 2004 - and the issue is that I'm following the steps.

The next thing you'll need to do is snap another rectangle (again, hiding the window frame can be useful) in the same opening, uncheck the "Generate Mapping Coord." and "Display Mesh" boxes after the new rectangle is snapped, apply a UVW Map to it, and rename this rectangle "Windows - Glass".

    But it's not transparent.

Is there something or step I'm doing wrong - as you can see the window in the front door is not transparent.  Thank you for your help.  Bobbo662

****EDIT**** Never mind, I got it to work :-)
