this Urban area is THE best ive seen in a long time maybe ever! it so balanced with tall, med, and small buildings and with the addition of the parks and trees it looks like the average modern city...

I know it is a small thing but I couldn't think of a better place to post my 100th message on Simtropolis but in Jeroni's absolutely wonderful city journal.

Speaking of Sculpting the Columbia River, Jeroni, you've done it again.  This is a beautiful update and I am SO VERY GLAD to see them continuing.

 

92.01 through 92.03:  You've used Pooty's Convention Center in a very nice and different way.  I like it.  As usual, your use of detail is just wonderful.  They way you've filled out the area around the convention center is great!

 

92.04 and 92.05:  One of the many things I like about your CJ is that NO SPACE goes to waste.  You really used these tiles wisely.  The buildings that developed fit in nicely with their surrondings.  I'm curious about one thing.  What developed on the small end tile to the left of the two buildings?

 

92.06 through 92.11:  Supterstar's Park -- what a beautiful and restful place.  I want to go there NOW and just sit and relax listening to the waterfalls on the pond, the birds in the air and the sounds of the sea (away from the train station, of course! ).  Your use of the pedestrian bridges are very nice.  I, too, wonder about the source of the pond's water.  I can see the two outlets from the pond (the waterfalls) but wonder about the source of the pond's water.

 

92.12:  I have said many times in the past that you are a master of overviews.  This picture just proves my point once again.  This is a great overview of this area, Jeroni.  Well done!

 

92.14 through 92.18:  You have touched on a project that I am working on myself -- creating a seedy neighborhood area.  You've done a very nice job in creating this slum, Jeroni.  Now, all you need to do is place some other undesirable elements such as some bars, maybe some adult establishments, etc. and you'll have a great low-wealth slum.

 

Thanks again, Jeroni, for the wonderful update and I certainly look forward to them as long as you continue this CJ.

prophet42, pls check the earlier updates from Costa Tramuntana South Bank, maybe 15 or 20 pages ago, and you will find a link to the building you are asking for.

fidelsalazar, thanks for you comments, about my lots, I they they are not only Rush Hour compatible. Except the transit enabled ones, ( I think only two of them that connect to the road) all the other ones should work in the pre-Rush Hour SC4 version. Por cierto, que tu Ingl

Another excellent update.  The beaches look good, as do your commercial industries.

 

And of course, the pond and CD's mod look great in the second half of the update as well.

 

One question though, how did you get those trees on all of PEGs pond tiles?  Did you edit those yourself?

 

Another great update...sad to see we are closing in on the end of the best CJ on Simtropolis!!

Like I said via MSN, it is always a pleasure to see your wonderful pics, these last ones really show the beauty of Darmoklia..those ponds are unbelieveablly realistic. I also spy a nice train mod in Costa Tramuntana, . I really love how detailed Darmolia is in the 93(2).02, and those farms of course are really amazing, I have always been an urban city planner, but those farms are quite beautiful.
