What can i say - its been a while since I posted and this CJ only gets better. So much better that I am getting travelsick again and wishing to be wandering thru the Europe that you have captured perfectly in this journal.

Even though this is only a game, your style is evocative of all spanish and italian cities - mainly built on rivers/hills etc and full of windy little streets, beautiful churches, old ruins, and some realy great bars/restaurants if memory serves.

Simply stunning! and once again a BIG thanks for showing us all how it SHOULD be done.

.....and hello page 35!18.gif

EDIT: Damn! Got beaten to the top while typing this post7.gif17.gif
This is a very nice CJ I have to admit. You have a gift of terraforming & those split pictures to make up one is a great way of cheating the system2.gif. Keep up this CJ because it's one of the best!

Hello, Jeroni.

The only thing missing from viewing your beautiful region picture is the drone of the airplane engine and the window between you and the world!  What a wonderful view of a excellently crafted regional area.  Jeroni, you are truly a master!

Regards,

Vandy

As always Perfect Update.  I really like the way the road goes up the side of the mountain.  I noticed it a few updates back and was wondering if we could get a closeup of it?

Hello, again, Jeroni.

I've just had the pleasure of viewing Chapter 48 and wanted to provide my comments to you.

48.1 thruogh 48.4  This is a very nice view and does reflect the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Mediterranean styling of the region.  It's really nice to see the lay of the land and to be able to discern its slope.  Very nice picture.

48.5  I really like the way you have your crops (fields) nestled up against the mountains.  Your Sims are certainly making the most of their available space.  The farmland extends out from the city limits very naturally and looks quite good.

48.6  Ah, Jeroni.  You've shared with us a little corner of paradise in this picture.  Your overall view of this area is very pleasing to the eye.  I do enjoy the winding road down to the cover bridge.  You can get a real sense of the way the land drops from the town to the river.

Very nicely done, as always.

Regards,

Vandy

Awesome as usual! But how did you get those extended stats back on page 34? I would to like to see stats like that for Thistlewood...not the incredulous numbers, but the detail of the stats themselves.

Cool, a amusement park in CR. I hope your sims enjoy going up through the loop. 9.gifI can't wait to see some more of the park. The pond really fits in in that landscape. In the first pic of Ets Amunts, I see that you continually enjoy using the meditterranean houses.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.  Reminds of when you showed a pre pic using the diagonal embankment walls on land.  I was a little concerned until I saw the finished product.  Never fear, after that update I no longer become concerned.

I do appreciate when you give us a work in progress photo though.  It allows us to get a glimpse of the creation process.

    Keep up the Outstanding work.

Whooooa! Now CR will have a amusement park!! Wow, and that big road loop, woa, if we compare this with a normal roller coaster loop, this would be actually the biggest existing loop in the entire world. Congratulation, but I don't know if cars could realy pass this loop, I think it's more a good plan to get rid of several sims. 46.gif47.gif18.gif

    jeronij,

Your unyielding dedication to Columbia River is as extraordinary as your drive to do new and innovative things that go beyond any other CJ.  Acquiring a domain name for this project is a prime example, and we do recognize the level of commitment required to say that SCR will continue as long as you want.

I'm personally excited about some of the features you've thought about and are now possible through owning a separate domain, including a PDF screenshot album and SCR screensavers.

    Keep rolling, jeroni! 19.gif44.gif

Awesome farms as usual! I'm guessing the roller coaster is meant to go with the state fair also in the picture?

You always do so much work, Jeroni, and all it does is make us happy! We love seeing all these creative ideas, and the cities are very aesthetically pleasing.

So, although we know it's hard work, keep it up! You have made fans of us all.

How much better can this get? The amusement park and THAT loop-the-loop are fabulously innovative... in fact, so is almost everything in this CJ.

I think this is unofficially recognised as the best CJ ever. I can see why.

Hmmm....I don't know about that. It's definitely in the top 3, but probably tied with Nexis for first, this CJ and Nexis could never top each other.
