Hi Jeroni,
Superb job as always, and I agree with MayorTim about the lots, one thing that we cruelly lack in SC4 are triangular lots like some of your fences...

And when looking at pic 40.9 I had a sense of d

Great work as usual.  You've got a knack for the rural as well as the urban.

If you need testers for your lots (if you're going to release any of those at all), lemme know- I'd be honored to test them (and I even have a newly cleaned Parks&Rec menu!)  10.gif

BTW: AfroThunda, that fenced park looks awesome. 44.gif

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

Which modds, props you use for your landscaping? Such as trees, side walks, I cant for life of me find these on stex grass, and terrain. your city looks realistic and i'm trying to make my cities look like this.

You have a most impressive city, and your advice in other forums have proven to be most valuable.  Thank you for helping my city, Midgar, (FF7 reference for those who noticed) grow and look more authentic.  That being said, how do you go about making a tunnel under a river?  Is this possible?  I want to try and create a tunnel from my mainland out to an island.  Is this possible?  The game has yet to let me do this.

@TXDemocrat: To make an underwater tunnel you make a strip of land from the mainland to the island by holding ctrl+alt+shift and going to god mod tools. Next you go back to mayor mod and build a tunnel from the mainland to the island under your strip of land. Finally you go back to god mod (ctrl+alt+shift and click on god mod tools) and lower your strip of land. Now you have your underwater tunnel. Just whatever you do to the strip of land don't get too close to your tunnel entrences with the water tool because if you do you'll buldoze the tunnel. Hope that helps!

Great city journal jeronij!44.gif

Well, I've been following this CJ since its inception, and I have to say that the quality of the landscape is unmatched.  I think Jeronij now deserves the title of Master Terraformer.  Interestingly enough, some of the pictures that have been posted are of such photographic quality, that they remind me of my own real-life hometown.  Keep up the good work, Jeronij.  You have inspired many a city-builder. 10.gif

Sorry to dig up an old query but, i got those oil tanks from the German site, but can't tell if they are ploppable, growable, or whatnot. They don't show up in any menu thats for sure, and i havn't seen them grow in my (predominatly) manufacturing industrial zones.

BTW, is that a BP petrol station i see? Is that on the STEX?

And the park/Fench lots look excellent.

The petrol stations are by Deadwoods, and are on the STEX, just search his name or DP. As for the oil tanks, I have them in game and it took ages for them to show up and they are still not common but they are around.

First time post, but I have been lurking and following this CJ since page one, it was then and still is the best on the forums. Keep up the good work, I am sure I am not alone in saying that I am continually inspired to build more realistic and beautiful citys by what I find here.

Simply beautiful, showing more of the development in this update reveals why your CJ is so great. I am really enjoying this more rural feel - I love the country and Son Moix looks like the real thing.44.gif44.gif

Also I share your frustration at the Dirt Roads mod, I had all kinds of problems switching from city to city with it.

Wow Jeronij that's really amazing. Also i noticed in picture 41.4 and below, the dirt roads had a mix with dirt and regular Maxis roads. Why is that? Im guessing its the commercial buildings but im not sure.

But other then that Super Job Jeronij.29.gif Can't wait for the next update.

Wow, Jeroni! I love this update! I don't know why, but that zoomed out view (41.7) reminds me of playing Sim City on the Super Nintendo!

So great! I wish I had the skills that you have, but then I think that would ruin the originality of your cities, Jeroni... so actually I'm glad I don't.

As always, keep up the great work Jeroni!

EDIT: Oh, and by the way, you are now the fifth most visited CJ on all of Simtropolis! Congratulations!

Very Nice update, I am liking this Agriculture look for you cities, Its kinda wierd seeing the Medditaranean houses in that rural looking area. I love your water mod too, What PEG water mod are you using ? I have noticed that some of the water from Joerg's water mod will change to a Darker color if you use PEG's rock mod.
