  1. New Battle Star Galactica

I think they are still filming the second season. They started filming in March. 10 episodes will air starting in July (for the 2 Stargate shows also) and the other 10 episodes won't air until January (also for the 2 Stargates). Date: 4/2/2005 9:31:03 PM Author: ZeramZeram From what I understand, Olmos is not signed for the second season, at least as of a few months ago... that would suggest he's dead for good. quote> Don't read further unless you want to be semi-spoiled Everyone signed back on for the next season. Usually they would have had options in their contracts in case the show was renewed anyway. I normally wouldn't give anything spoilerish but felt I should answer your post. So if he dies it wouldn't be because the actor wasn't willing to be in the show.

Very nicely done city. I like the way you made the building sizes and the sprawl more natural then a lot of the cjs. Even your municipal airport seems to be just the right size. Even though I love the brick street mod I wish it were a little more consistent or controllable. The patchy application it sometimes does really detracts from it. I wish they could make it so that if it was going to apply it then it would at least apply it for the entire street. I suppose that's not possible. It doesn't have to be a murder, I've had that for pie-throwing. quote> Ah so what happens is someone is hit in the face with a pie. The police come. Then they have the victim lie down so they can draw a chalk outline.

Ok I confess....I'm a lurker. Feel my shame. I do really like your cj. I especially like your attention to detail. For example on the previous page you had a stadium and added a parking lot. Those small things really make such a big difference. Plus you landscaped it to make it all flow together really well. On a constructive criticism note (really more of a personal preference) earlier this page you had Marrast's riverwalk (can't remember the actual name) and I saw you had a clock tower (also can't remember name) and Frogfaces's monument. I didn't really like the clock tower and monument next to each other. They seemed to compete with each other due to their similar yet different heights and very different styles. Just mho. Thanks for this cj. Even though I've been pretty silent, I have taken a lot from it. Most importantly that attention to detail you give everything.
  4. Sculpting Columbia River

jeronij, as always your work continues to astound. I wanted to give you the link you were asking for in that amazing Omega thread (worried you might not go back and see it if I posted it there). Diamond Condo Afro, very nice park.
  5. Sculpting Columbia River

I had no idea that you had so much undeveloped land. Amazing to think about all the wonderful pictures coming out of a relatively small area. It must be the attention to detail you give everything that really makes it all stand out and seem like a much, much, much larger area. For example, you didn't just plop a school, you gave it a landscaped area, added sports fields and tied it all together with a path. Thanks for posting the night shots of the Swim Center. I had pretty much the same reaction when I saw it the first time. jtportland, you're welcome. And thank you for all your wonderful bats/lots.
  6. Sculpting Columbia River

I love the Swimming Centre and am thrilled to see it in your city (I'm actually building a modern city just because I wanted to use it). IMHO, it's an incredible piece of work that hasn't gotten a lot of attention. In fact, until this week I hadn't seen it in any journals (now I've seen it in 2). Is it too much to ask for you to put up a night shot so people can see jtportland's unbelievable lighting job on it? Great work. You have inspired so many people with your terraforming and gorgeous cities. And even though I don't post everytime (how many times can one gush), I enjoy every update. Thank you. ETA: You answered while I was slowly answering....just wanted to add you can get that National Swimming Centre by jtportland here at Simtropolis also.
  7. Santa Lucia.... revisited

NOOOOOOO not the park!!!!!!!!!!!! Progress once again rears its ugly head. Where will the little go? BTW, I really liked your transportation map (linked on previous page). Your road layout was very nice - not too griddy yet still realistic for a large downtown. I have road layout issues (I suck) so I love seeing how well others do. I shall have to return tomorrow to see what has taken the place of the park.
  8. Belleville - Christmas at Macy's

Your city is very beautiful.....which sucks only because I realize I live in a not anyway near as beautiful city. I must go now and steal your ideas.
  9. Santa Lucia.... revisited

Happy Birthday!! Sorry to hear of your tragedy, its the kind of mistake I would and probably will make sometime. On the other hand, your downtown at night is beautiful so I'm sure you find solace in that.
  10. ADC Forested Streets Modd

(continued) I don't know if the problem is related, but thought I should post in case it is. Still, very nice and I'll definitely be using it. Thanks again.
  11. ADC Forested Streets Modd

Great idea and wonderful job. Thanks. This may be unrelated but, I use Trolca's dirt/brick street mod and it made all streets dirt after using your mod. (continued)
  12. City of EDMONTON

Wow. I am always amazed when people recreate cities. I can't even imagine the time and effort that goes into that. It bears repeating - Great Job!!
