I just want to add once again, great CJ.  And too, I love the walls that you've put out.  They've made my cities, well, great... maybe not as eye-pleasing as your city is, but hey...

I can't wait for the next update.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

I must really say this is  a great journal, but by going through all the 16 pages I started missing something. I see neither power plans nor water pumps nor any kind of waste management. Where is all this stuff? A city can not survive without them.42.gif

Hi Jeroni

As always, you never loose focus! [:0]

It's simply beautifull, and particualrly pic 31.3. Even your diagonal residential development looks great! The walkways that we barely see are a very nice touch!

Well thanks again for your walls and keep on terraforming! 44.gif

31.3, that is the BEST light res I have EVER seen! I looks as if it were almost real! what with some houses bordering the woods, and others the highway, and others other houses, and the little forest in the middle....I've SEEN things like that. It's just INCREDIBLE!

by the way, when you said unpayable you probably meant invaluable. Unpayable would mean you're about to go bankrupt10.gif

I see a Thermal Power Infusion Corp generator on the shore of pic 30.2.

Haven't spotted the other two utilities yet tho.

Maybe for waste.. wonder if he is hiding a couple of PEG's waste chutes that throw garbage over the side of the map.. 18.gif

He amigo,

Its becoming a really nice city.... I especially like your waterfronts and harbours!!

I think your city needs more concrete factories to keep up with all this concrete demand! LOL

But the walls sure looks nice and I'm planning on using them in my harbour region aswell...

We'll be waiting for a new update...

Adios..

Sorry to reply this thread again, but I've got another question about the lot you applied in one of your screenshot.
Here's the picture you posted:
01.gif
What's the name of the sidewalk-like fence above the tunnel?
I've tried every possible keyword but found nothing. Hopefully I can use this in my city as well. 9.gif
Many thanks!

You want feedback, you've got feedback 1.gif  I really like how you terraform.  The area around the church looks wonderful.  As I read your CJ, I keep getting ideas for my own, which I started earlier this week.  You are an inspiration!

I've missed two lots of updates!

They look amazing!!!!! The last updates just looks stunning!! The church looks just right on that craggy hill. (Darmok is a king42.gif) Wow I have royalty living above my CR port de soller apartment!!!!10.gif better get some candid pictures of him and his mistresses send them to CR Newspapers and Trashy magazines!! I'll make a fortune!
31.3: looks so realistic, you could imagine families living in this area with their kid riding their bike on the streets. I love how you use paths but they are only visible if you look really hard at the picture. There are so many subtle things going on in your CJ screen shots that it takes ages to look at them cos of the detail.
The last update...wow...it's beautiful. You can see the castle overlooking the river and the different scales of buildings, there is real texture in this picture. 32.5 looks so cool, cos it looks like all the church is packed, like there is a service on. The road leading up to it is so quaint, you could imagine driving up there to rejuvenate your spirit, with great view as well from the top, I bet.16.gif

32.9 has got to be my favourite cos it shows the whole area. You can see the history of the city by looking at this picture. Jeroni you have a masterpiece here...I don't know what else to say...you are building a dream city (with lots of public transport, judging by the buses 9.gif). keep it up, and I agree with Frog face, play some more SIMCITY4 and you'll destress2.gif. Hope you feel better.

BTW: the new walls are stunning, can't wait to use them in my city, which is at the moment a mix of experiments that I am doing (all the things I've learnt from your amazing CJ and from the other Amazing Cj's on this site).

42.gifA quick question Jeroni: How did you get those beaches just below the olympic stadium? Is it a lot or is it the terrain? it look great.

Don't be sorry to continue replying. You'll keep doing it again and again.

PEG's rock texture fits in well with your city. The castle development is VERY impressive (incidentally, Autumn is spelled with an n on the end, but it's silent, so I don't blame you19.gif) Don't let your lack of fluency discourage you, you know more english than I know spanish19.gif and the wonderful City Journal more than makes up for it all. (I hope you don't mind me constantly correcting you; if it bugs you I'll stop. I wouldn't want to lose my luxury apartment41.gif)

Faith and Fight!!!! 18.gif
I don't know what to say...43.gif
I'll say this, I'm greatly honored by that association! and to be a part of CR. Really... 19.gif

But you're becoming quite a name in Simtropolis, amigo.

So I'll leave by saying simply that I find the temple setting really stunning.

And Popnfresh just go there for the tunnel and slope mod

Hola Jeroni. This is my first post at Simtropolis and I must say I'm only doing it 'cause I'm totally and completely amazed by your CJ. In fact after reading it over and over for the last week I decided to start playing again with SimCity.

I'm co admin of MZO Central, a forum that born a few years ago to be dedicated to the Sid Meier's Civilization community (actually most of us come from Apolyton, our mother-board, also Civ-related) but has grow to hold more than that. A few months ago we had SimCity Region Challenge but for some reasons we all left it aside. Only a couple of weeks ago two of the posters started to play again with their regions and one of them gave me the URL to your CJ. After watching all you've done I felt in love of SimCity again and started a new region, following your advices. I must say that Sculpting Columbia River has been an inspiration for me and I hope to learn more from your building style in the next updates.

Oh and thanks a lot for those walls. They are trully amazing! 44.gif

Regarding what you said about your problems at work I have only one thing to say... que se jodan! 9.gif

saludos, and keep the great work.
