Please help me to silence the annoying man who constantly shouts during the game

Something really annoyed me from SC4 since I started playing the game 20 years ago, is the man who never stops yelling during the game.

"WAAAAAAH, WAAAAAH!!!!", "WHOOAAAAH, WOOOOOOAAAAAHHH". It keeps shouting louder every few seconds. My head is about to blow up sometimes and I need to turn off the sounds because I can't take it anymore.

Is there any plugin, mod, cheat or whatever to turning off the most annoying feature of the game? After making lots of searches, I couldn't find anybody talking about this.

Thank you for having me in your forum : )

Sorry do you mean the advisors?

I think that @Hanschristian2 means in-game sounds. I have to admit that I sometimes also encounter this yelling or yelping sound when I zoom in or scroll the view into certain city areas. :D It is not an ambient sound and it is clearly discernible as something extra.

So far I did not determine which building or event generates this sound. Majority of the cases, happens in medium-density commercial and housing areas. The sound does not seem to be related to crime, traffic or any other phenomena. It's a SC4 Havana Syndrome. :O *:ducky:

To elaborate on my previous post, I've recently been doing quite a lot of testing (in a different field actually :whatevs:) and, by chance, was able to confirm that ocassional shouts and yelling heard in game in fact, do come from crime-ridden areas.

I've heard them numerous times while going about my job and they always happened when an area suffering from high crime was in view.

Automated Notice Message

All posts after 1 March, 2026 @ 01:37 GMT were lost in the site crash.

We've added this message thread divider in every topic across all forums for what were then active threads. (We decided active is if the most recent extant post (from the backup) was on or after 1 January, 2026.)

This divider serves as notice that the conversation was interrupted. Answers and further discussion which used to be here have been lost. Keep this in mind when replying. Our hope is to rebuild what is missing.

I am Lab Rat.
