I think someone will post a better illustration of Paengs lots (I tend to use them in other parts of my cities), but his sandstone mod and pedmall parks are pretty essential in creating this central mall. Sandstone is a key base for most of my cities and I'd be designing and building in a very different way without it. So I'd be remiss if I didn't post here, his work really makes my cities what they are. While I can't thank him personally, this will be my little tribute to his work.

Apart from the extraordinary level of details, what I mostly enjoyed with @paeng's work is how he could pick simple elements and put them into the most creative ways possible, leading us to a galaxy of unique lots. You would never get bored with his creations :D

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

Welcome to Fairview, my new city journal *:D

Yes that's what he bought to his banished villages as well, you would look at one of his screenshots and on the face of it just a normal banished village, till you noticed the washing line behind someone's house, or the stuff propped up again a wall or that rose bush planted next to someone front door or the ..... and sometimes he would do one-off's, this one is called "weavers at sunset"

Hopefully we will get a few more entries in before .... looks at calendar and marks off the 17th December as decision time re banished game giveaway, also given Paeng's birthday was on the 25th of December am thinking that if people would prefer to upload a xmas themed .... and given we are heading into Christmas .... any game being played on Simtropolis picture that would be very welcome as well.
