Modifying pedestrians size in SC4

Hi everybody!!

I was wondering if it is possible to resize the pedestrians of the streets and roads in SC4. In my opinion they are too tall (3m each sim *).

It would be nice if the pedestrians and people animation could be a little smaller.

Can anybody help to starting developing this if it is possible?

Thanks in advance.

Have you considered how in this event, you probably wouldn't be able to actually see them. Part due to the game's isometric perspective and part due to the top-down nature of the game, means BATters often have to exaggerate the height of things, especially small objects. Literally, Zoom 6 was bolted on as an after-thought to make the My Sims mode practical. Take a look at animations in zoom 5 and they are already pretty tiny.

If you still want to make things smaller, then Model Tweaker can be used to reduce the size of S3D based game objects, however animations tend not to use them. Therefore practically speaking unless I'm missing something, I think the only viable option is to re-make new smaller ones, indeed the BAB tool is the only viable method of so doing. However, given the sheer number of objects we're talking about, that's a very serious project that will take much time to realise. There is no quick fix solution I can think of to make this happen.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.
