Hi there,

Is there a way I can use someones city creation? We have a Smart City Innovation Center where we want to show case to real life mayors, how to monitor and grow a city of tomorrow on SimCity. In order to do so, we need a "pre-made" amazing smart city to begin with.

Does anyone may offer his creation? Is there a sharing platform of this kind? Is it technology wise possible?

Thanks,

Tamar

City save files can be shared and any member who wishes to do so can zip the file and attach it to a post here. (If the size happens to be too large for an attachment, it could also be shared using online storage such as GoogleDrive, OneDrive, or the like. Or alternately via a temporary hosting site like WeTransfer.com.)

@Tamar s Would you please provide more information about your project? That would help members understand the details you are looking for in the city design.

Also, feel free to post a linky if your project is associated with another website.

For those who want, you can take a deep look at it with one of my regions, I'll leave them here along with the mods folder, so that it works correctly

Region: https://mega.nz/folder/bOgiRKbA#CTlGI_zuo3uySVpAAfB-cw
Plugins:  <Removed, sorry>

@franyer

Cool looking region. The OP has posted in SC2013 tho and so it seems that's what they are looking for.

Then, additionally, we understand why you'd add the linky for your plugins (since it'd be brown boxes everywhere without), but that jumps over the line for what's allowed on Simtropolis. Since long before we joined ST, entire plugins folders can't be publicly shared. As such, we've had to remove the linky to those. We realize this means anyone downloading your region won't be able to see it in all its glory, so if you want to retract your whole post, that's ok.

We do apologize that we have to remove the linky to your plugins, but we have to maintain the accepted rules and expectations of ST. Btw, no need to worry. We know you were being helpful and didn't intentionally break the rule. *;)

@CorinaMarie
Ok that's fine with me, actually I didn't know that I couldn't share my plugins folder. Although I would like to share my regions with the community, especially with those who are just starting out to get many initial ideas of how cities should look.
I like to do that charity, because I never had any reference when I started in the game.
But this will force me to make a list with each mod that I use in my regions, or directly make regions without mods.
It seems good to me, I accept the rules and I assure you that it will not be repeated ;)

Yeah, this is the unfortunate part as it can take a very long time to compile such a list.
